New here looking to upgrade my LS
I'm getting close to the point that it would have been cheaper to get a SS/TC and I'm almost turbo'd. I'll be at about what a SS is with a 17 PSI tune and then when I build the motor I'll be a few k over what it would have cost to get an SS but will be 400 WHP capable. Much easier to get the SS though since I'll still need things like a axles and what not.

wow just blast the dude for having an ls instead of actually helping him so he doesn't rice it out.
intake, full exhaust, tune, upgraded shocks/ struts with lowering springs, a new headunit, new wheels to get rid of steelies and leather seats should be a good start

You want to be known as the guy with the upgraded base model? If you're fine taking on that heat than okay. But you're not fooling anyone.
And the "Gay big wing" is correct. I've never met someone IRL that likes the wing. And I think it looks in bad taste when I see it on other cobalts. You might get a "that's cool" from a young kid driving in moms fullsize gmc safari van, but that's about it. And can you believe the dealership wanted me to pay extra to have it put on? I'd rather take the base model looking spoiler over the GBW.

We offer SS suspension parts, we understand that there customers out there that are just fine with the car they have but would like it to handle like an SS.

I like the wing.
Nothing wrong with working on a base model. If it tickles your pickle within the price of your nickel who cares?
Run the numbers before doing any work though, and see what would be a more cost effective way. If its cheaper to do what you want to it, by all means. If the stuff you want comes stock on an SS/SC/TC, and is cheaper to simply upgrade, do that.
But I 100% know where you'll be coming from with "I already have this car, I'm sort of attached to it now.."
Its happened to me with plenty of guns lol
