New-ish. Again
When I joined back in 2008, I had an 06 SS/SC. I loved the car, but eventually traded it off on a Genesis coupe. Now I miss the LSJ.. and I must remedy the situation..
A few months ago, I picked up a 1984 Pontiac Fiero with the Iron Duke 4cyl. Gutless, burns oil, and needs an overhaul.

The body and interior are in great shape, but it needs a little more.. punch. So I started searching around, and saw hundreds of threads on other forums regarding the 3800SC swap thats quite common in the Fieros. But I want to be a little different and lighter weight, so I picked up an '07 SS/SC recently.

It has front end damage, and the rad support hit the supercharger.. I also noticed this,

I want to get the motor running without any issues before I transplant the drivetrain to the Fiero. I picked the car up for a great price, and having the complete donor car makes it a little easier to do the swap with. I have the stock air box from my old SS that I will use to get a somewhat proper MAF reading, a new belt, and the SC mounts were reattached. I just have to find time shortly to fire it up long enough to check the codes and go from there. I know its an odd swap, but with such a diverse community as the Cobalt group is.. I am sure someone here would find this a little interesting. I may be asking for help from time to time (Like fixing that hole as pictured above), but I am glad to be back!

Haha I have guess as much.. They leave an imprint on you. My room mate bought a turbo shortly after I traded mine off, so I never really did leave. I drive his from time to time, and bring me right back. (Thats why I HAD to get this car for the motor swap. Bring bak some memories)
Picked one up last week. found a seized 2.0 complete with accessories for 100$(CAD). Plan on using that SC, intake and heat exchanger. The guy thought I was odd for wanting a seized motor, but after I told him what its for, he became very enthused.
