The new kid on the block

Hey im manny 18 years old from Utah have a stock 2006 cobalt ss/sc plan on lowering on coils and putting some wheels on it and doing a white camo dip still havent decided on wheels but under the hood i wanna just do stage 3 kit for a while until i can afford a turbo swap. I will probably be asking alot of question because i came from vtec world to ecotec world haha, but anyways hope this forum isnt filled like drama like most honda sites

Theres a little bit of drama on here but this is a pretty welcoming forum for the most part. Welcome in, good luck with your plans, google search for things.etc.

Theres an excellent how to in the cobalt build book for installing stage kits. Also most questions have been answered id recommend google searching often.

Also hit up drivetrain solutions on here. He makes custom hub swaps, for if you want to run agood looking set of wheels. Not many great choices for the stock 5x110 bolt pattern.

Open exhaust on sc es no bueno. Unless you're into that sound and the drone on highways is brutal.

Whatever exhaust you get, get a catted downpipe

Looks like you need a front lip

turbo kits (hahn or zzp) are both around 4-5k so unless your doing it soon i would just get a catted downpipe. no cat sounds really BAD, on sc balts

Catted because you need a new down pipe and exhaust manifold when you go turbo anyways. It's mainly for sound though because it sounds like ass without a cat, so raspy.
