so im not a new member but im now in a new location and would like to see if i can find some people around me with a cobalt. as of right now im in point loma, california. ive seen a few ss' around but not many. i saw a black supercharged one on base when i first got here but havent seen it in awhile. so if your in the area let me know id like to see whats out here. thanks.

 

point loma? Im at NAS North Island. 08 ss/tc. I see a bunch on base. Mostly all SC. I rarely ever see TC.

 

its right by coronado, ive only been here maybe a month and i havent had a chance to get my car here so i havent made it very far but i dont know much around here.

 

north island is on coronado. I can see point loma across the bay from my hangar :p

nah i dont know any of the other SSs around here. Ive only had my car since feb. and I dont know if any of them are on this site.

 

Oh, i forgot .. check out 'san diego ecotecs' facebook page. they do meets and stuff a lot. i havent had time to go to them. but a lot of them are military down here.

 

how many bases are in california? one of my buddies is stationed in san diego to but im not sure where exactly. i wanted to try and get into AD to begin with but i didnt have glasses at the time so wouldnt let me do depth preception so it knocked out all aviation for me which kinda sucked but it is what it is. how long you been in for?

 

ill have been in for 5 years on the 19th. well, lets see. there is point loma, north island, san diego wet and dry side. NAB which is where the seals do their stuff. pendleton which is an hour or so a way.. uhmm there are the coast guard... lol theres a lot.

 

yea id say lol i didnt realize there was that many. so you got any tips or hints for the fleet?

 

I don't really know too much about STG, except that they go on the boat lol. Being aviation, I don't really have any interaction with ship rates, except when I deploy. I've been on a frigate, and a destroyer. In my opinion, small boys are the way to go. I don't think I'd like being on a carrier very much, lol.

 

yea not to many people know about stg's lol. its a community of people. most people in the navy have never even heard of them lol.
