Help me buy a Cobalt SS – ID this Cobalt

I need everyone’s help! I am in the market for a daily driver and am considering a Cobalt SS. I am NOT very familiar with this vehicle or engine mods and need advice from SS owners. Ideally, if the previous owner is on the site and can provide specific details that would be great. Does this car look familiar to anyone?

Here is the listing: 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Stage 3 w/ g85 & RPD display | Addison, Texas | Texas Hot Rides

2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Stage 3 w/ g85 & RPD display (46 pictures on listing)

$15,000, 53,537 miles

Factory options: CLEAN CARFAX / CARFAX CERTIFIED, 1-OWNER, G85 OPTION (limited slip differential), and RPD DISPLAY

Mods: HAHN STAGE 3 PACKAGE, HAHN UPGRADED INTERCOOLER, BLOW OFF VALVE, HAHN HARDPIPE KIT, HAHN COLD AIR INTAKE, HAHN 3" STAINLESS DOWNPIPE, HAHN STAINLESS CATBACK W/ RESONATOR, ZZP SOLID MOUNTS, TRINITY TUNED (INTERFACES WITH CRUISE CONTROL BUTTON), 23 PSI, UPGRADED CLUTCH, and SHORT SHIFTER.

What should I be concerned about and what questions should I ask the dealer to better understand the condition of the vehicle?

Please help!

just for a comparassion. I sold my 09 with 47k on it for 13,200. Which is a steal, but they only book for roughly 13,9 in mint condition.

if by "trinity" you mean "trifecta" tuned, then it would most likely need a brand new pcm to either revert it to stock or put a decent tune on it. Vince from Trifecta locks the pcms so you can't mess with them once he's done.

also, i haven't kept up with a whole lot of info on the LNF's, but last time I checked, it's definitely not ideal to run an atmospheric blow off valve, even if it has a block off plate to the recirculating valve.

Where in San Antonio are you? I have a bunch of buddies there with the expertise you need in person.

It still has the factory BPV. You can tell by the color of it in the pic with the shot of the turbo. It is still the beige color.

Shaped differently or not, its still factory. Why would someone make an aftermarket beige plastic one?

Ya cause the OP will go from looking at a 15k car to a 25k-40k real quick.

Im talking about it having the Forge BPV, its aluminum. All I was doing is telling the OP it does not have a BOV like stated, It has the Forge BPV which often gets mistaken as a BOV.
