New LSJ Owner
Hello,
My name is Eric and I live just East of Toronto, ON Canada. I have recently acquired a Black 2006 Cobalt SS manual transmission. I have been researching these forums for the past week unregistered and figure it is time to do so.
I have come up with an intended path of modifications that I believe will suite my goals of making good power from the stock supercharger on 94 octane fuel as follows:
Cold Air Intake (most likely AEM as I like the dry filter)
2.7 Pulley
Shorter GM Pulley Belt
60lb Fuel Injectors
Dual Pass Intercooler End Plate
Twin Pass Heat Exchanger (ran in series to the stock HE)
Denso/NGK Iridium Spark Plugs 1 step colder
Headers with Catless Down Pipe flanged to the stock Catback
So far I have replaced the fuel filter with a new unit, performed a synthetic oil change with Motul 8100/fresh oil filter, ran a bottle of injector cleaner additive, and verified the heat exchanger pump is working.
I have a previously installed No name CAI and some very strange looking spark plugs that will need to be replaced.
Currently I am trying to get in touch with OntarioKev/SSKev who is a HPTuner in the Greater Toronto Area to discuss a dyno tune otherwise I will have to get the stock ECU remapped.
