Hey all! I wanted to introduce myself as a new member. My name is Bill and I'm from Kansas City, KS (specifucally the Shawnee area). I have a red 2009 SS Sedan with only 36k on the odometer and it's in GREAT shape.
Now, the bad news. I bought it from Copart with the intent of building a DF Goblin with my twin 12 year olds. The car was hit in the rear driver while parked and the damage to unibody and associated components made it a total loss.
I've been into cars my whole life, so I didnt want to tear this thing apart without making parts available to others, especially since Sedan SSs are fairly hard to come by.
If you're familiar with the DF Goblin kit, then you know that I'll be using the drivetrain, ECM, BCM and associated wire harnesses, the front subframe, suspension, brakes, fuel pump, instrument cluster, front seats, wheels and other odds and ends. Everything else, I want to sell.
My kids and I have already removed the Hood, Front bumper, fenders and doors as complete units. These items are too big to ship, so I'm hoping a local member is in need. We will be stripping the car for the next few weeks, so if there are smaller parts someone is interested in, I would entertain shipping them.
I know some on here won't be pleased I'm taking the course I am due to the rarity of the SS Sedans, but it was too good a donor to pass up and it gives me a chance to get my kids off video games and get them to learn how to wrench.


The trunk has a slight crease in the left next to the taillight but is only noticable when looking for it. The rear doo is undamaged save for some paint rubbing on the inside

The bumper and passenger fender both have acrapes through the paint. The front end has a clear bra on it.

The hood is in good shape with a clear bra













The exhaust is in great shape save for the dent in the tip.
