Hey everyone, although I'm a new member here I've had an SS for a while and I still love it. It's been the best car I've had and always a thrill to drive. A lot of people where i live like to talk trash about the SS, yet none have been able to beat me in a race I have a question though, is the stage 2 kit worth the money? I'm trying to decide if that's my best route towards performance or if I should look at something else? Thanks everyone

welcome to the site.

gm stage 2 is and isn't worth the money. it's nice for warranty, but with the tune you're just not going to get too much power. with a custom tune though you'll see some better results.

now aftermarket stage 2 kits that come with a better selection of pullies and supporting mods are the way to go if you aren't worried about having a warranty.

Welcome, its all about how big you want to go. Do your research and find out what your goal is so that way you don't waste money, stage 2. stage 3. TVS...

Yeah ill probably go with a zzp kit with a 2.7 pulley since my warranty already expired. Any idea what a shop charges for installation on that?
