Hello all, my name is David, and I just became the owner of a 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS/SC. This was actually my first ever dealership purchase, and I've been looking around at cars for a few months now so that I could get rid of my crappy Ford Aspire. I looked at Cooper S' for awhile, but then read the reviews on how repairs could get really costly and nobody wanted to offer any warranties on them. I looked at other cars but then stumbled on the Cobalt and fell in love immediately. I found mine and drove 4 hours to look at it today and signed the papers right there. They offered me a 2 year 26500 mile warranty, on a car with 114k, which is rarely seen anymore! The car was such a great ride home, and a huge difference from my crappy Aspire.
At one point I had to put the car in reverse and didnt know that you had to lift on the shift knob to put it in reverse and actually had to stop in the middle of this street to ask a guy if he could move his car (LOL moment now!) Other than the CEL coming on on the way home because of a hole in my CAI, everything is working fine. I have a new CAI on the way, and also new headlights because of the fogging on the others.
I've always been a believer of the help of forums, so I hope you guys will accept me and help me on this long dream of my first boosted car!
