Hello, my name is Ricardo and I recently just brought a Cobalt. I purchased a 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS Turbocharged a week ago! Overall I really like the car and since it is my first manual car, I really enjoy it. I brought it just over 100,000 miles on it (I forgot the exact mileage) but it has no problems except for one problem that recently came up which I will make another thread for later. Anyways the car came already with mods which has an aftermarket injen intake, zzp exhaust, zzp tuned, inter cooler, and zzp engine mount. The car is also lowered a bit which is definitely nice. The car really is fast for it being a 4 cylinder. I am not sure how much HP it makes after all with all the mods on it, tell me what you guys think it makes! Since it is my first manual i had to learn but within two days i got the hang of it, and boom ive been driving around here and there. It is really loud with the aftermarket zzp exhaust but it does sound really nice. Plans right now are changing the oil, new coolant, and pretty much making sure all level fluids are good. Then I will probably repaint the calipers. I will now leave pictures so you guys can see the car.
Welcome, you are now trapped in the Cobalt/Ecotec world! The car looks good. I would imagine on the stock turbo, with the current mods it make some where between 290whp and 320whp dependin on how it was tuned with ZZP. Alot of people discredit the Cobalt, but when done right they can be surprisingly quick.
