Hello, My names Tyler and I'm new to the cobalt scene from Lincoln NE. I picked up my black 2009 Cobalt SS/TC coupe last week from a dealership. It's completely stock and looks like any other SS except for this one doesn't have a sunroof . It's got higher mileage but seemed to be well taken care of (107k). Plans for the car so far are to get the windows tinted with 20% tint and a dyno tune from a local shop. I may do an intake also but just the tune by itself seems to be plenty for a stock clutch. I'm not new to the car scene as my last two of many cars were Gtp's. The last one I had was a Xp cam/IC/GenV/TOG/N*TB/E85 setup that I put together myself and the gtp before that had a zzp z7 turbo kit (t66 turbo) running on e85 with about 19 psi and stock motor otherwise which was by far the funnest/fastest car I've owned. I've also owned 4 other grand prix's, an 88 foxbody, 80 malibu, and a couple other chinese beaters .With that all said, I look forward to being a part of the Cobalt community!

Yea man! I don't see hardly any turbos around here, all supercharged. Glad to find another TC in Lincoln. Though, our cars are probably identical haha.

Just curious, how's the car holding up at 100k+ miles?

Yea if yours is stock looking then they'd be identical lol. This thing is like new. I don't know of a single thing thats any different on mine compared to one with 20k miles. Well, ig other than real light surface rust on the top of the front struts. everything else works 100%
