Hi I just got my cobalt a week ago got it used I am now proud to say that I own a 2008 Chevy cobalt ls 2.2. It has a few things wrong with it but I think I got ‘em figured out just gotta get the parts. I know it will be a great car. I do have a question about it when I got the car the factory stereo screen is not working the radio works but the stereo screen does not a friend of mine gave me a new factory radio that came out of a 2009 cobalt will it be a plug and play swap or is there something else I got to do or will it even work

Going from memory you'll have to have a dealer use Tech2 to program the radio to the car. I believe they're interchangeable for the 2008-2010 head units from a connections standpoint.
