No crank. low ,fuel, powersteering light on
Hi I need some help I have a 07 base model Cobalt 5 speed was working fine besides check engine light for my clutch switch. 253000 miles on the clock the other day was driving no symptoms of anything wrong pulled up to a stop sign and the car died the dash said low fuel which I have three quarters of a tank and power steering when I try to turn the key nothing never did hear a fuel pump so don't know if that's engaging or not till I put electrical tester on it I have a good battery no check engine light other than clutch sensor I mentioned can anybody help thanks
Sounds like a problem with the BCM. It's what controls a lot of those things. When it has problems, it'll tell you no fuel, no power steering, and your gauges will usually not move, as it controls the cluster.
That said, I've had it mess up while driving, and the car didn't die. So your issue could actually be with the PCM to BCM connection, the PCM itself, or the fuse box.
Impossible to diagnose completely with limited info, but that's where I would start looking.
