(Not so) New guy

Hey everyone, I finally decided to make an account on here and try to be somewhat active instead of just lurking. My name is Noah and I’m from Grand Rapids and you could say I know a few ZZP people😉 I have a LNF sedan I bought I got a year and a half ago from the original owner in Cali (no rust at all), bone stock besides a windshield banner and a muffler tip, with a cracked gen 2 block in the trunk. I put a brand new Gen 3 LDK w/ ZZP Stg 2 cams, #82 springs, and all the other ZZP bolt ons while keeping the stock K04 for autox/road course purposes along with an E85 tune. I beat the hell out of my car almost every weekend either autocrossing, going to gingerman, or just having fun in Mexico with the local car guys. I also have a Ion Redline as a winter beater I bought with a blown motor and frankensteined a motor together with parts laying around the shop, mostly stock for now. Will likely turbo it within a year. Idk what else to say here so here’s a few pics of my things. P.

I either run my Federal 595 RSR’s or BFGoodrich G-Force R1’s, both tires are 245/40/18. After my last track day I noticed my rear tires were rubbing in the rears on the inside so I need to run a little spacer next time out.

I see a lot of BFGoodrich G-Force tires in use. I have never used Federal 595 RSR's or the BFGoodrich. Which is your favorite? Any significant differences in tire life?

I am currently running 245/40R17 Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R's and really like them however all I have to compare them to is Michelin Pilot SS.

I've debated getting RE-71R's for my next tire to have something that is 200TW. I had PSS on my 3KGT VR4 and liked that a lot for a good street or occasional autox tire. I like the RSR's for the price and they are very grippy, but they wear quickly, not great in rain, and are kinda loud (not that I care). The G-Force are awesome on the track, for being a beginner that feel nice and don't step out super easily. But I'm still trying to get a feel for differences in tire pressures/alignment settings
