please help me, before I just roll this thing off a cliff

Long time lurker, but I'm at my witts end so many problems still occurring. Long story short bought 1 2007 ss/sc shortly after, I realized it should have been totalled out(body damage mainly) so I bought a second same exact (I thought at the time) ss/sc with nicer bolt ons but a blown transmission. Driveway trans swap, aftermarket/new clutch on new car, but the hydraulic system is just battling me every effing which way. But ihhh buddy there's more. If you could or would like to help oong distance style please ask about the following systems and ill be happy to inform you of the problem and look forward to learning.

Clutch
General transmission

Okay so thats really it.. clutch pedal either feels like SpongeBob lives under it or sticks at an odd level and then SHOOTS out like its mission is to make me knee myself in the chin.

Once again, pleasseeeeee help.

Sorry if this is the incorrect way to apply, I just joined today and am using a browser on my mobile device. But how did I bleed the clutch? 🤔 manually, by means of me pumping the pedal to pressure, using jack handle to keep clutch pedal down, open valve, close valve repeat. The had girlfriend be pedal presser, while I became a bleeder valve expert tech. No dice. Then the Mityvac ~25hg vacuum pull. Let sit overnight once, no go. Repeat with Mityvac pedal pressing still no go. And i was too darn stupid to have even taken a picture of the clutcb assembly on the block as it was clearly new i was hoping for the best, that being it would just line up and kaboom.

So the GM process is hold ~25inHg for 5 mins, let vacuum off, pump pedal slowly 5 times, re-apply vacuum until pedal feel is correct.

If the pedal feel doesn't start to improve after doing this method twice something is physically incorrect or a seal is not sealing etc. You may have to do that method 3-5 times to get the feel right but things should improve each time.

Get a might-vac and bleed the clutch before you ever install the transmission. Yes that means going backwards, but that is also better than driving your car off of a cliff.

I have done this several times and never had a single issue with pedal pressure.

release vacuum by valve or removing plug? Cap on reservoir or off?
