Sweet car, I have replaced the previous owners magnaflow rattle can with a twin loop muffler, car is quiet now and seems to have more power. Also would a sway bar help control my issue with all the torque making it difficult to steer during rapid acceleration?

Welcome aboard.

Sway bar won't help with the torque steer. The sway bars will help only with turning and cornering at high speed.

Welcome to the forum!

Are you referring to torque steer fighting you against keeping the car straight or spinning the tires while trying to accelerate while turning? A rear sway bar should help you to steer/turn while trying to accelerate. A rear sway bar transfers more weight to the front which gives you more grip in the front. That's why it helps with turn in and rotating the car. More grip means it'll be harder to spin but FWD + torquey FI engine will always be a challenge while putting the power down in the turns so that will always be an issue.

A limited slip diff will also help a lot but would be much more expensive and time consuming to install.

Sounds like rotated mounts are right up your alley.
