Replacing 2.0L cracked head with 2.2L ? Help

I have a 2006 SS 2.0L with a crack around #2 cyl.
Can I put a different kind of head on it maybe an after market head.
Price is a concern. Its my son car and I am teaching him how to cuss at a car.

Does anything run off of the drivers side of the exhaust cam on the LSJ? If not I would think you could use a 2.2 L61 head. I'm assuming stock tune? Iirc the L61 valve springs aren't as stiff as the LSJ and I think they are only safe to 7,000 rpm.

I'm running a Frankenstein LSJ/L61 build with LSJ block (but L61 crank rods and pistons) with L61 head. I know they are interchangeable from that aspect as far as bolting on.

the lsj (2.0l s/c) has the cam position sensor housing bolted to the end of the head on the exhaust cam. thats a unique thing to the lsj and saab b207 engines. the saab b207 is in 2004 and up saab 9-3 turbos.
