Still Haven't Received My Megan Exhaust.

So, this is a follow up to those who have responded to my other thread concerning the fact that a week later, I still haven't received my Megan Exhaust.

I've been trying to get a hold of NGA for days. I still have yet to talked to them. They never gave me a tracking number for my exhaust. I called FedEx, which is what NGA told me they used to ship it, and FedEx said that my name and address isn't even on their database. I talked to two different people to double check. Am I being lied to? It's been over a month since I sent in my payment for the Megan Drift-Spec Exhaust group buy that occurred back in December. This is extremely unacceptable. Should I take legal action?

For those who haven't heard of my problem, here's the other thread that I made about a week ago.

I paid with a money order as I don't have a credit card. NGA told me last week that the exhaust arrived at their factory from Megan. They inspected it and shipped it out the same day. I was told last week that the exhaust arrived in Maryland, the state I live in. NGA told me it should arrive at my house either last Thursday or Friday. Both days passed by and yesterday and today passed by. NGA isn't even helping matters by making me satisfied/giving me a tracking number.

Moneys orders suck! If you paid with a credit card you could ask them to refund based on the fact that they didn't send the goods. NGA would then have to prove they shipped it out to you or they would be forced to repay you.

You sure they sent it out FedEx? (if they really shipped it)

You're at a point where you need to call them and say if they can't produce a tracking number, then they need to refund your money. If they refuse to do either, take legal action.

If money orders sucked, why would they encourage me to pay with one? They told me in messages prior that they shipped it through FedEx. I've been calling for days on end and hours on end. Basically a call every hour of every day. I can't get a hold of them.

They told me today that their phones were down. The number on their website is a cell phone number. I can tell because of the voicemail that it directs my call to. How can their phones be down if it rings a bunch of times and goes to voicemail. I've left numerous voicemails.

Because once a money order is cashed, there is nothing you can do to get your money back if I'm not mistaken. Businesses don't like credit cards because they lose money on each purchase. I'd be very weary of a company that will not accept credit card as a payment.

I'm pretty sure I can get my money back. I work at a bank so I know a few things here and there. I wouldn't of gone through with the purchase if one, I didn't trust NGA. I have heard many reputable statements about them. Two, I couldn't get my money back.

Defend how NGA can be giving him locations to the products where abouts along their ways to his house, if your saying they haven't even got it yet.

Have NGA give you the tracking number and shipping information. If they can't do that, get your money back and buy from somewhere else. Its pretty clear cut at this point in the game.

money orders or western union is asking to be scammed, you have NO protection whatsoever.
you might as well have sent cash in an envelope.

hope this isnt the case, but it would be your own fault.

They have said they would refund me the money if I wanted it, but if they have the product that they claim to have, what's stopping them from sending it out to me? Why would I waste my time for a refund if the product is supposed to be on it's way to my house?

I'm being lied to point blank.

If you know you're being lied too, why are you making a thread? Get your money already.

I've ordered a few things from NGA, a shifter, a interceptor gauge and a wideband. Although they did take upwards to three weeks I did get what I wanted so I was happy. You have to realize it's hard to run a one-two man operation. Plus I know he has to hold his own job down as well.

Have you read my posts? I've done both.

Unfortunately I got the money order from my bank I work at. It was a last resort thing until I told my mom about the situation with the exhaust. I didn't want her freaking out because she doesn't want me modding my car extensively. I've emailed, called, and PMed the hell out of them. Nothing.

I just sent them a PM saying that if they couldn't provide a tracking number along with shipping information, then I would like a full refund and I'd do business somewhere else and never again with NGA.

I just don't understand how a highly reputable company would screw me over like this.

man you work at a bank to and they still let you do this? bank atm cards are almost always linked up wtih a credit card and you can just pay with them. no credit card is required if you just have a bank account and ATM card. i dont know if this makes sense. but id PM some one on css.net and see what they can do. warnings, revocations of vendor status or something. they take our money for premium membership and money for vendors to sell but let them dick us around. this site and all these vendors wouldnt exist with out our support of the actuall enthusiast. but dont be brash about it. keep your cool they could be trying to work things out, i know they had short supplies and that could be the reason. best of luck bro

Yeah, unfortunately I found out that you could link your ATM card and use it as a credit card at the last minute. I never did go through with it though. I reported the vendor earlier on here, I am just waiting for a response. Thanks.

ssweeet i would give NGA a little longer and PM him again. I have yet to here one bad thing about him and it all the problems seem to be based around Megan. i just ordered one from him and he said it should be coming in sometime this week or early next week(hopefully) so maybe yours is there too. i really hope the same thing doesnt happen to me but i feel your pain, i am tired of waiting already(not very patient) but things like this take time, and it seems like megan gets these in by crates so hopefully soon...

I sent out my money order on Dec. 14th. NGA received it on Dec. 18th. As far as I know, everyone in the group buy received their exhaust around New Years. I am still waiting on mine a month later.

Patience is a virtue. I've held my patience long enough. I'm running very thin on tolerance with this company.

When I ordered my HIDs they took over a month to get to my door.. I msged the company a few times asking where it was and the tracking number etc. I kept bugging them, eventually they told me it was on the house and they were sorry for the delay. I checked my account and sure enough they refunded the payment and let me keep the kit. Props to Clifford at Mobilehid.com.
Just keep bugging NGA and eventually you'll get either the exhaust or the payment, I mean it could even be held up somewhere, I've had some of my stuff get held at distrbution centers for upwards of a week before they sent it on. GL man.
