09 TC untuned....

A friend has 2 10lb bottles and silinods I just have to get the Nozzle and zets to spray my TC. Problem is wouldn't the stock tuneing try to drop boost or something to compinsate for the extra power. I think this would fudge up my motor.

Yeah its fine to run "n twenty" on stock parts. I did for a year. I was tuned though. Get it tuned if you have an ss/tc. The n/a guys can get away without tuning for spray. Dont go ***** out vin diesel style until you get it dialed in some.

And LMFAO at the original post.

Its not only that..im not a scientist but i thought it had something to do with DI.

Something like, your fuel pressure being so high that by adding that cold air, the maf recalcuates it to high or something...

thank you. people freak out for some reason when an IDIOT runs nitrous and blows up.

Newsflash, anyone can blow there car for simply not knowing how to drive a manual for instance.

people that freak out about nitrous are the ones that have 1) never used it, and 2) seen too many youtube/streetfire vids of dumb kids that dont know what there doing.

Why do you think every v8 track car on a show like PINKS has spray? Umm because people that actually know about cars knows that nitrous is a good tool.

I would like to verify Projekts comment, Direct injection does not like/want/need nitrous, theres a reason you havent seen people dropping nitrous on these cars.

so what does direct injection not like about nitrous? The colder denser charge of air its getting? I forgot DI allows us to say things like "**** physics if no ones done it yet it doesnt work"

The problem if you wan to run a big shot would be fueling. Once the new OS is available and hp tuners unlocks a few more tables we should find the limits of stock injectors and the pump. This in turn will allow the aftermarket to start selling us injectors and pumps and other fueling goodies(i.e. people can experiment with nitrous with more confidence)... Unless that is of course DI doesnt have an aftermarket like some may say, and that it is too expensive... but why don't you look at the new GTIs that are DI too..

People on Pinks dont drive DI cars either.....

DI cars dont like anything too cold in the intake system it that simple...

Obviously many of you dont realize that DI engines have a more thorough combustion process when the engine is at operating temp or higher... IE: I live in VERY HOT!!!! phoenix, Az... I've ran my car in 110 degree summer heat and in the 45 degree air at night in mid winter... the car ran faster in the summer due to a better, more complete combustion...

I've seen several guys try meth on their T\C and got no whp out of it, and if they did it was negligable, say 2-3 whp at most....... If you were to use a N20 system go with a dry shot, in the case of DI its a safer bet... I know guys with other DI cars such as newer Audi A4's and A6's that have small 35-75 hp shots of a dry kit because that's what was recommended...

Lastly, goto a auto dealer that has been selling DI cars for more than 5 years like Audi or BMW and such... GM techs dont know a dman thing about Di, NONE of them do... trust me... (((And I dont want to hear about it from any GM techs here becasue they dont know zip about DI, they're just full of it....BS)))

every person i have every known in my entire life who ran n2o big shot or small shot. tuned and untuned. there car is no longer on the road or there motor blew and its been replaced. EVERY PERSON. it doesnt matter if u have a tune or not. the tune will just let the motor go alot longer but will give out eventually. either way your phucking your motor anally. just when ur tuned ur using lube. and the lube slowly goes away. get it?

If properly installed, nitrous will never go anywhere near a maf sensor.
With proper afr monitoring, it shouldn't be a problem with a 50 or maybe even 75 shot.

so what do you say about my Stock internal LSJ running 23 bottles of nitrous through it while still having 210 compression across the board? and the fact that i always sprayed at 1000+psi.

ok so If i runa 75 dry shot right before the intercooler then the motor will think i have the best intercooler in the world. I know i will not get the most out of the shot, but it would be safe.....
