i don't like to say how much money because even my own friends ask how i talk someone into racing me for a quick $100 bucks. i say i am a stock exhaust cobalt. some mod's done. mostly rich kids in 335i's with up'd boost i sometimes run them w/o the spray and barely beat them. with the spray i've raced 3 gto's for money and the same 2 before hand money again and a evo with 370whp who backed out of paying me all the money b/c he claimed his tranny was messed up and once he gets it fixed he will beat me by a little bit.

i think it's clear i for sure cover 48-124mph in 9seconds. i say that's pretty good for less than $2k in brand new parts. what u think joe?

No doubt your car is quick. Mine was like that, then got even faster. With the nitto's on the street, I could usually 'holeshot' someone from a 40 roll so badly, they couldn't catch back up. I'm talking 400+ WHP cars here

yeah. i've beaten up on some cars that should be 400whp i even called you a long time ago when i was on the 45shot i beat my friends 60trim srt-4 but i know something wasn't right. it didn't add up. he now has stage 3 + full bolts ons + race gas so he is like 400whp if not a little more. i will re-dyno again with him same day. him and i are good friends and we just run for fun.

i have hooser qtp (dot) mounted on my 16" winter wheels. i put the other 2 on the back so it just looks like i am a cobalt with junky wheels and i shock the **** out of people. haha i told a kid with a bolt on evo 10 if he wanted to dig it out with me for some money but he fucked up his car and it never happened. would of been interesting but i know top end i would of flew up past him like a piece of cake. haha

nos sniper kit on ebay. i bought my **** for like $279.99 shipped. i think there still less than $300 bucks but hard to find the ones with free shipping you might have to wait. ether way that's a full kit for less than $300 bucks. i am using joe's header + dp but i added a 3" cat which prob hurts my power but whatever i ride around like i am stock and sound like a stock cobalt with a $19 old dirty filter that's been on my car for like 2-1/2 to 3 years. hahaa

 

I had all NOS components. Bought a used kit for like $300 with some extra parts (dry nozzles and stuff), did have a solenoid go bad on me once, but that was the only problem.

Only issue with the Sniper kit for me is that it uses cheaper components than the regular holley stuff. Not usually a problem, especially if you buy it new and use it regularly, but the solenoids are cheaper and non-rebuildable I believe, less stainless parts, more brass. Just little stuff. Plus you get that funny looking orange bottle instead of the nice metallic blue one. That's like 5hp right there

if you add in some extra stuff like belts and wires i have about 1k into my car. with the gauges and extra's less than $2k. i think it is a successful mission. just gotta get to the track run a 12.99 or better and i've accomplished all my wants with this vehicle. lol

 

I run the dynotune kit. Only thing I need is more jets though. I wanna do a 100 shot

lol. i am just wondering at the pace i am going how much this motor can really hold up to the 75shot. i am running a 26 fuel jet and 42 nitrous. any suggestions on what timing i should be running and also afr? figure i would get a bunch of people's advice. ralliarist is helping me tune my car over the phone. also i have 16.0 afr while cruising or that's what i am commanding. i get good good gas millage. pretty pimp. anything less than 30% throttle that's what i command the ecu and above that i am commanding 12.2 off the spray.

 

If it blows I can rebuild.

 

this is true. thanks man. it would all be worth it right? i mean when u blew yours up was it worth it? i feel i have had a **** load of races and i have easily won back the money i've spent in this car.
