GM doesn't reccommend a 100 Shot due to the piston rings. Gm has said that a 50 shot with the stage 3 is basically maxed out. If OP does have these upgraded, then he can do this.

I ran my car with the N20 armed, but no nitrous spraying while on the dyno a long time ago. It put down 174 HP. It ran REALLY RICH. Then with the 50 shot, it hit 275. Of course this was the 3rd back to back to back run and my IC pump wasn't working at the time. Just to mess with it, I gunned the car with system armed, but no nitrous and felt very slow. So all the scheme is just to dump fuel after 3500rpms? Interesting.........Do you know if the 1oo octane mode is really a tune? Curious now....

the 100 octane mode has to run more timing, why run the extra octane at all if it doesnt modify the timing? and there is a reason they only say a 50 shot, it has something in the calibration to add fuel when the nitrous hits. its not gonna let the car go lean. and to someone saying something about the piston rings? i have ran a 100 wet shot for a couple bottles, car held fine and ran anywhere from a 60-75 shot the rest of its nitrous life. lol

It doesn't run more timing, just locks the car into the high octane table. It runs more timing than usual since it doesn't access the low octane table, but it doesn't actually ADD any. Once it detects enough knock it goes back to switching between high/low like usual.
There are no extra timing tables anywhere in the cal.
I haven't confirmed the nitrous part.. from what Roel posted, its possible fuel could be added via some sort of modifier, but to be honest I haven't tested it so I don't know one way or the other.

I went to the track today with following mods: GMS3 PCM, 76mm pulley, fidanza flywheel and the airbox mod with a $20 spectre filter. The exhaust, manifold & DP are 100% stock. I ran a 14.06 @ 104.16mph. It never hit 100 on just the stage 2 tune. I was shifting at 7250. But the stage 3 is def more aggressive over the stage 2 tune. Can't wait for some AC!
