hookup for rpm

i have the msd rpm window switch and i dont know where the one wire goes to monitor the tach, or rpm... help please

07 ss/sc

search in the how-to section for shift light installs...I know in those threads they note which wire to tap for RPM.

they show just to get a reading. i need the negative and positve terminals on the coil pack... i think its the red and the black one and not the middle ones...

You should be able to use the signal wire and a common ground right? I'm not sure about the MSD one, but thats how most window switches work.

the only wires that you need to tap your car for with the MSD switch is the tach signal and the throttle position sensor so not sure what you are looking for...
