internals for N2O??

what kind of internals will be needed to run a big shot of nitrous(125)? higher compression pistons and then from there i am leaving it up to some of the smarter people on what else is needed.

bump

lmao. if only i was made of money. i'll be starting college in the fall so i dont really want to blow my car up if i dont have to. but i would like to know what would be needed to handle a 125 shot in our cars.

bad idea. nitrous is just a bad idea. for a 125 hot i would have to say pistons, and rods maybe. to me a 125 shot seems a bit much. sounds to me like someone is wanting to beat a buddies car that is way faster.

i was thinking of a 55 wet shot. the zex kit. but was wanting to know how much more it would cost in parts to be able to run a 125+shot

its always the new people that say nitrous will "blow ur car up" . they need to learn how it actually works and not what they see from Fast and furious video.

if done right it would prolly be fine but when your talking about a 150 shot that is alot on stock internals. and i actually have buddies that run 50 and 100 shots on their camaro's with no problems but tell me why one of my buddies blew his motor with a 150 shot and the other with a 100 shot? don't tell me that nitrous won't blow your motor. i'm not saying that is the only cause when you run nitrous but it can with a big enough shot.

agree'd. my point is just that you can f*** s*** up if you go to big. there is a guy in muncie, indiana running a 100 shot i think and has success with it. he is just a LS though. he needs the help

with the way some people talk abt it u would think u were injecting rockt fuel. You have to think about N20 as any other power mod. if u add 100 HP regardless of N20 or thru another power mod ur still going to need similar upgrades. Nitrous when done rite is safe. You just have to kno how and why its making more power.

and a dry kit IS NOT safe and is practically suicide on a 4 cyl.

you'll probably want to go direct port - wet kit, 2 step colder plugs and forged pistons

at least thats what I'd do...don't know if I'd trust a single fogger kit or stock pistons on a 125 shot

The biggest problem is when guys dont use a window switch and hit the juice at low revvs then, BOOM bye bye intake got to you tube and type in nitrous backfires.
