What are the safest jets to run for a 50 & 75 wet shot? (w/ 62psi fuel pressure)

Please don't just post some random jet sizes.. I could look that up myself.. I know they vary a bit and I was wondering on some reasoning you guys might have for what jets to run exactly and why?

Need more info, what nitrous kit are you using?

Zex & NX use the same size/style jets, NOS uses a different size calibration

So post up that and I may be able to figure it out specifically to your setup.

Sorry for the late response. I'm running a full dynotune wet kit with NX solenoids

 

About 34/41 or as close as you can get. No matter the exact size
jet you use your results are gonna vary anyway. It's all approximate
and not worth switching jets over once you've already purchased them.
Bold print is based solely on experience.

I wont. I'm gonna retard timing and I'm running way less of a shot. And I have safety features up the ass.

I'm not so concerned about the shot "varying" as you said.. More concerned with too much or too little fuel/nitrous. I want it perfectly balanced... Considering my injectors are wayyyy maxed out and idk how they will respond to the fueling jet in conjunction with the nitrous thats going in...

 

I have used for a 50 shot, for a base line tune Nitrous 30/Fuel 22
You have pretty high fuel pressure if you find that your are too rich then
you can go as small as 18 for the fuel. Better to be rich than lean for starters.
Just a note here use I NOSystems Flare Jets and I never used a single shot of
75 I wrote what tunning steps I went with for 50.
Jets are cheap you can buy them in kits ,you will need a few different ones.



Curios though what size are the lines that run from your solenoids to your fogger, are they
3AN or 4AN. The size will affect you feed pressure

I heard the NOS jetting sizes are the safest and most conservative for wet shots?

Wondering if I should run their jetting...

 

Pretty much most jets are given a size based on the diameter of the hole in it,for instance
a #42 jet means it has a .042 inch hole. There may be some makers that give there jet
a number size ,then you would reference that through some chart. NOSystems jets
are stainless steel which will hold up better that brass. The offset is that they cost a few
bucks more each. Be aware there many different types of jets, flare, funnel or tapered
just to name the ones I know of. Most all charts you will find from different companies
compliment their systems based on a lot of things like how much their solenoids flow,
the size of their lines or the type nozzle set there is, including the type of jets in use.

Best way to find out what jets are perfect is to test out multiple fuel and nitrous jets based around sizes recommended.

 

Thats the thing though.. lol I want to know what jets to buy so I dont just buy all of them...

 

I'd just buy a few like 40-45 and 22-30.
