Lookin at a N2O setup got some ?'s

Hey guys, im very new the N2O thing i used to be completely against it i was one of the guys who thought if you cant do it on motor you dont need to do it but i keep hearin guys talk about it and i now work with a guy who claims to be very knowledgeable in that area and so far i have no reason to doubt it but i was talkin to him today about runnin a shot on my balt...first off i am runnin a stock pulley, airbox mod, deleted cat, ported blower, and i am tuned, so i am curious if it is indeed safe for me to run a 75 shot as long as i use a window switch and such or if its just a dumb idea as i may not have enough supporting mods to make it work or take full advantage of it?

Please remember i am a noob when it comes to N2O so try to keep the flaming to a minimum

Thanks
Mike

If you are on the stock tune you should be fine. Stage tune is too aggressive in the timing department for a bigger shot than 50.

Should get custom tuned anyway for a 75 shot.

I am tuned, i cant remember what we set the timing at but we didnt adjust it more than 2* and my AFR's are at like 11.3-11.5 so i guess what im really lookin for is what shot would be a safe bet for me i dont really wanna do anything detrimental to my engine so i am trying to get as much info/as many opinions from people who know what they are talkin about or have experience in this department...thus i turned to the boys on I appreciate the knowledge you guys provide me

if you're looking for "safe", a 50 shot would be more than fine.

i'm assuming you're going to do more mods so i would probably add more boost and back off a lil on the spray.

a header? its the tubes at the back of your engine that collect the exhaust and dispell it through one central tube - the downpipe.

o, my mistake...reading destroyed me there.

and a header is recommended to help with the excess flow and heat taht are by-products of using the juice...

especially since the stock header/downpipe is so flimsy with its flex-pipe

i had my crack there too (at the flexpipe) and start to leak when i first started using the sauce.

It becomes a huge choke point when pushing that much more air through your car. A header and intake are going to let you run stronger and more reliably with the nitrous.
