Nitrous Question

I just placed an order for a stage 1 nitrous kit and was wanting to know the best way to run it on the Cobalt SS/SC. I was reading somewhere that the guts of the Eaton s/c was teflon coated for the purpose of running nos through it. Is that true?

I have heard that n2o will make the teflon peel off prematurly. It was someone with a GTP. Don't know if maybe he just had bad luck or if that is what may happen. Now on the other hand, there is a guy on here 05yellowss I believe that has been running a 75shot with no problems.......except for the clutch.

no problems yet, just removed the s/c for an inspection and it shows no wear or compromised rotors as of yet, over 30lbs have been sprayed through (not including the fuel mixed in) runs like a champ still, engine is going through rebuild in less than 2 months anyway so, forged everything here I come...

you shouldnt shoot fuel (wet shot) through a blower. that is what will damage the rotors.

Direct port...you will notice the difference. If you plan on using a dry shot i wouldnt suggest anything over a 100 shot.... Dont make a ricer mistake and think you can just hook up the bottle and give er hell. There is a art to tuning for nitrous. Spend the money and do it right. Properly tuned, nitrous can yield great results and not damage your engine. Using it incorrectly.....well, just pull the pin on the grenade now..and get it over with

nos makes those little nossles that go on the bottom of the injector. not sure if it would fit but that would be the best way to do i think. give a call to nos and see
