may want to look at the stage 3 kit, it has an alternate tune in it to run a dry 50 shot. when you arm the nitrous itll go to a different calibration, it also shuts the nitrous off 500rpm before your rev limit. the downside to stage 3 is that its technicaly not for highway use, gm voids your warrenty, and it disables your a/c (to discourage using it on a street car)

Listen to Sharkey. It is a good way to spray. I run the stage 3 pcm in my car. The nitrous gets hooked up in the spring. This is the only way I would spray. The PCM will shut the nitrous off if it detects any errors. It also has a 100 octane tune if you just want to run race gas. For daily driving it has been very good to me.

CTCOBALTSSS, did you have to provide your vin?

What was required to install the PCM? Did you simply unplug and swap?

I bought the PCM off a member. I just installed it and that's it.
It had to learn everything again such as oil life, mpg, avg speed, things like that.

I just unpluged the old one and pluged in the new one. That was it. 10 minutes.

I will be spraying in the spring. I'll do a full write up on how the nitrous works on stage 3, a little video of arming it, purging it, a couple dyno runs, going into 100 octane mode. I'll let everyone know how it works in the spring after the dyno day in May.

And thank you so much for that. I can't wait.
It's good to hear your 2.7 with spray is going well.

just thought of a question, if you can switch back and forth between the stage 3 PCM and the stage 2 PCM, will it reset your oil life and such? because that would be a pain.

Yes it would. That's why i'm just going to run the stage 3 pcm all the time.
It daily drives just like the other one and my AFR is better.

You are right though the oil life would be off. You would have to keep track of it yourself with a window sticker or something.

292whp would be great! what other mods were included in that? as of now i'm on the stage 2 with GMPP sport exhaust, and Fujita CAI. Once i put in the stage 3 and nos, it'll be all traction mods from there.

Here is the link to the thread. A header back exhaust system is a must.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...e+dyno+nitrous

He has the following:

2.8 Pulley
42# injectors
HPtuners (soft tune)
50 shot of nitrous 3500-6800 RPMS
Header-back exhaust

If i already have the GMPP sport exhaust, what would i need? header and downpipe? or is there more?
