Exclamation is it safe for me to run nitrous?

i have a 06 ss sc. mods are stage 2, 2.8 ,intake, exhaust, ingalls, zzp tensioner, wot box, soon to be 60lb injectors. also the motor only has about 7k on it just got it replaced not long ago. i was looking at the dynotune kit from ottperformance. its a 75shot. would it mess my motor up or would it be safe to use? need some advise. got a couple other questions whats the dif. between a wet and dry system? how do you hook the nitrous up like where does it spray into? any advise would help thanks guys

I have done a 75 shot with the setup you are talking about. I never had any problems as long as I ran stock timing (not stage 2, but actual stock stage 0) and colder plugs.

Here is an issue to consider, when you run stock timing (vs stage 2) you lose about ~10hp, and you get maybe 20hp with the xtra shot. So you really don't gain that much by putting the motor threw more stress. Plus you lose that extra 10 hp when you aren't spraying.

On a dyno here were my results:

50 shot, 2.8 pulley (42 #) stage 2 timing = 292 whp
75 shot 2.8 pulley (42 #) stage 0 timing = 307 whp

So you gain about 15 whp, running a 75 shot with stage 2 timing caused enough knock that I wasn't comfortable running that setup.
