Smallest pulley with GM Stage 3?

I am running the 2.85 pulley on the stage 2 setup.. Yes I know some of you will say its unsafe, that really isn't my question.

I'm planning on upgrading to stage 3 with the 50 shot. I doubt I want to stay with the 2.85 though. Thought about jumping up anywhere from 2.90-2.99. I know stage 3 is 2.99 but will something as low as a 2.9 be safe?

I would but unfortunately I don't know anybody close that can tune. So I was just going to go with stage 3 tune for now... Otherwise I would just go to a 2.7" pulley and 60's without nitrous
