Once you except that there will always be someone with more horsepower then you will be alright. Just learn to play with cars in your power range its alot funner.

that would be obvious, but still 3000+ for a turbo kit is outrageous just for a few more ponies
if anything ill get a tvs Later on(if my car doesnt blow up or something else major happens) and prolly meth since nitrous will be too hard on our engines which i don't believe

ur more likely to get 350 outta of a kit than 400+ due to u need alot of supporting mods + will the motor handle that boost daily. Considering TVS is 2k and some change. U can hit 300-350 without a problem for 1k less no boost lagg. But thats my opinion i don't think it's worth the 3k+ for a turbo swap
Plus a M62 pullied engine can hit around 250-280 with Cooling mods and such.
so 3k for an extra idk 50-100 hp not my really worth it.
still 2k for 300-350hp not really worth it.

that's where you're wrong sir. Even with Hahn's level 5 kit, all you would need to do is swap out those 60's for 80's, and get a better tune. That's only 200 bucks out of pocket for 400+ hp. A tvs honestly needs a whole lot more to even get to 350.

I use to love nitrous, went in thinking the same as you. Had a 00 Cavalier with all the supporting mods running a 50 shot, at first I was good didn't really use it too much, but after beating a few cars people would always hit me up to race more and more. Things I didn't like was filling the bottle up and making sure the bottle was warm. You'll notice that the first 5 hits on it will be your strongest, then after that it kinda loses it's effectiveness. It was so much fun while it lasted- cracked 2 pistons and was done with it.

Just man up and turbo swap it man. I was on the fence about nos tvs or to turbo swap. helped my buddy with his tvs. it was kool for a while but didnt make enough power. Not ever 6months later he drags my ass down to zzp's shop we pick up his turbo kit and we installed it.
So i have seen both tvs and turbo swap ridin at wot in both. Night an day difference. I know its alot of money but to be honest our cars are cheaper to mod then most.
Also ur looking at it all wrong. Your going from the stage factor forget that. look at it as ur car coming out the factory then putting a turbo on from zzp. if u make 350 still over a 100 more ponys. u make 400 still over 200 ponys. Well worth the money.
it would cost almost as much if not more to get to 350 on a tvs then it would on a turbo swap. '
nos i have never used because why have power that nickles and dimes u when u can just have a **** ton of power on hand. '
Also i think it would be sweet to spin from 100-140 lol. keep in open mind. An remeber if u know how to drive ur car and stick with a good range of horse power slicks and traction mods. running a good quater mile time should be easy

If you want high HP numbers than a turbo swap is the way to go IMO. You should decide how much money you want to spend on the car totally. The SS is pretty decent but there are many other things that should be done before stepping up to nitrous. Brakes, suspension, clutch, proper gauges, etc.
You can run nitrous cheaply. I'm personally over cautious. I'm using GMS3 with the addition of a front mount HE. I've spent around $1000 on my nitrous set up because I knew exactly what I wanted and patiently waited for good deals and prices on the components. It has taken me two years to piece together the components and keep a tight budget.

- Dyotune dry kit without the bottle (bought new from a member on CSS.net) at a great price. $125 shipped
- NOS Electric Blue Bottle (new) $110 via Amazon sale (couldn't believe it)
- Safety valve and blowdown tube $45
- Bottle heater $110
- Bottle blanket $25
- Digital nitrous pressure gauge $149
- NOS Remote bottle opener (so you don't have to get out of the vehicle if your tank is mounted discretely) $145 via AJ USA sale on Black Friday (regularly $289)
- Nitrous filter $25
- Nitrous control panel to arm, open the bottle, heater, and purge $78
- Weather pak kit, spools of wire, proper weather protected relays, wire protection and mounting provide more expense. $140
