Has anyone tried installing a NOS Sneaky Pete kit in a ss/sc?

 

Was thinking about it as I have one sitting at home.

 

Install that **** right now!

We will see about that one. I was actually saving it for another toy but the thought had crossed my mind.

from what I have read its only good for one 1/4 mile pass...which makes it pretty pointless

Im thinking Ive got a goped in the garage thats fixxin to die or a lawn mower or a dirt bike that would be fun to have N20 on.

Couldn't you "customize" it and add like 3 more bottles? I got the idea from Fast & Furious lol

There is a form of sneaky pete that we used to use on our LT1 / LS1 cars. What you did on those cars is have one solenoid and a single spray "dry" nozzel with the correct jetting in it. You have a 10 lb bottle in the trunk plumbed up to that solenoid and spray right before the MAF sensor. I had this small "homemade kit" on my cars for years without anyone knowing and could easilly pick up 5-7 tenths in the 1/8th mile. No one ever knew because it was hidden really well in the engine compartment.

As for the SS/SC 2.0 motor, I would be interested if anyone has sprayed this type of kit ?
I am still reading and researching and so far I have been told "No" to dry kits all together.

just buy a damn wet kit and be done with it. using a small bottle is bad for 2 reasons.
1, you dont get much use out of it it will run out fast.
2. having that little amount of nitorus in the bottle will have the bottle pressure low.

you CAN hide a 10lb bottle.
