Whats up guys. I have an 06 ION RL. My 2.2 ION was totalled by a drunnk driver so im installing my nitrous kit on this. My question is, for those that use a WOT switch, where are you mounting it and how are you securing it? I know it has to be under the gas pedal but im not sure how to do it. Or, are most using a TPS switch and if so, where are you tapping into for the signal? Im using this along with a digital window switch. The WOT switch came with the Ny-Trex kit that was installed on my other car but if need be, i will buy a TPS.

 

Under the pedel is the only option in my opinion.

If you tap the TPS signal then chance are you will cause the car to go into limp mode. There are two TPS sensors, and if they are off from each other in the slightest the PCM will close the throttle.

I have a WOT switch mounted under the pedel in my car. It takes rigging but it's the only option I see.

 

I mounted my WOT at the pedal linkage works great but I have yet to tap in the fuel/no2 line, I'll somehow shoot it after the blower.
