WOT switch question.

My kit came with a WOT switch to activate the system. I couldn't find any place to mount I'd nor any way to mount it on the pedal. Right now the way it's setup is I have extra wire so that I can pull the swich out from underneath the cupholders and activate like a push button system.

I'd much rather have it the way it was intended on the pedal but I can't seem to figure out a way to mount it.

How are you guys mounting the switch on your cars?

i have a window switch in-line.

i just don't like the electronic tps i like the mircoswitch under the pedal. it's a little more old school electronics in my taste.

forgive the photo's not very much space in there to angle the camera....hope this helps...and i can assure u that its sturdy, and only clicks on that final little travel of the pedal...total control

and i know its kind of a mess, but i have ALOT of mods to my car that needed wiring, my next order of business is to cover those properly...i hate wen things don't look clean.

i'd be scared to kick that thing outta the way and have it not engage at WOT

i'd use it with cable throttle though...just put it on the TB, much easier

that's the point for me if i get rear-ended on a cruise or in an accident where my foot is still on or over the throttle the swtich will move disabling the system. i thought about that long and hard.

I have a Nitrous Outlet RPM window switch with a built in TPS WOT switch and it works great. Every nitrous system should have a window switch. I originally bought a micro switch to use as a WOT switch because I wasn't sure whether to trust the electronics, but I never installed it because the window switch works so well.

you're making that last statement as though all window switchs have the tps built in. the window switch is not the component that prevents you from spraying at wot only its the tps or micro-switch. i agree every nitrous system should have a window switch they should also have some sort of wot switch whether it be electronic or mechanical.

u would be suprised...the epoxy has it on there very well...and it would be a miracle to wedge my foot in that lil space where it sits- let alone have enough force/grab to move its position .... ive tried with my hand..very sturdy

Yeah, I hear what you're saying brother. It's true not all window switches have a TPS switch. To be perfectly clear, a nitrous system absolutely should have a WOT switch. I also highly recommend using a RPM window switch. If you miss a gear and over rev, a window switch will shut the solenoid off and prevent damage when you bounce off the rev limiter. You also should not spray under 3,000 RPM either. If you are putting a system together, I suggest getting a window switch with a TPS WOT switch built-in already.

Here is the window switch I have and heartily recommend if you are in the market for a new one.
