Dont Buy This Cobalt Ss Supercharged
I went and test drove this car tonight and checked the car out and looked in the trunk to find out there was a major water leak. Upon further review of the car i notice that it had repair patched and new tack welds. This car looked to be in a major rear end collision. I want to make sure that NO ONE buys this car without knowledge of this repair because of the quality of the repair work. The dealership DID NOT inform me of the work done to the car and i made the sales rep Doug Koier aware of the repair work and informed him i would not be purchasing the car. Can you please help in the situation so that anyone looking to purchase this car is not screwed out of their money. Further this car is listed as a GM Certified used vehicle.
That was my email to GM and carfax.
This car is located at Heiser Chevrolet in West Allis, WI
Ive emailed GM Certified Used Vehicles and Carfax.... I hope these guys BURN IN HELL!!!!!!!!!
Ill try to keep this up to date with responses from GM and Carfax.

I hear ya, my brother 5150studios had the same problem FROM THE FACTORY!!!!! Beware of it, I think they finally found that the back window was actually leaking, they had to replace the window and seal I believe, not too sure what the final fix was.
Anyways, good lookin out for your Cobalt brothas!

That's why you always ask for a Carfax before you buy the car. Most dealers will get it for you because they usually have the "premium" unlimited stuff.
had the same thing when I was looking for a mazda Protege5. It was yellow and the hatch looked a slightly light yellow than the rest of the car, asked the dealer and he said the car was never wrecked and had a clean title. Asked for the carfax, and proved him a liar

Then I agree completely, that's BS. Say no thanks and walk away people!

Carfax doesn't mean anything... There are sooooooooooooo many cars out there that have been in accidents and doesn't say a word about it on the carfax... the only real way to find out is hopefully the bodyshop did a poor job (runs in paint, compound in door seals and jams, swirl marks, over spray etc) You can never be sure... i never will trust dealerships... as i have worked at 4 of them and still do... can't wait to get my degree to say screw dealerships for good

I hope i get it
I heard from GM Certified today.... Man did the customer service manager sound upset. He took a recorded statement and informed me he would get back to me with any questions.

They failed at least one part and thats the alignment.
I hope they lose the franchise license because of this.
