dude have it replaced under warranty. Just put your stock airbox on (if you have cai) and drop that sucker off at the dealer.

 

How do you know its the O2 Sensor?

They wont bother you at the dealership for that. When I had my 2003 cavalier it had exhaust and intake and they fixed it under warranty.

Its really per dealer per mechanic though. If they can blame/pinpoint the modification had something to do with the failure of the part..you're f'd. Why not play it safe it does take time to throw on the stock airbox but its harder to get warranty work done if they say no.

You are right with that, my brother took his jetta in and they would'nt touch it becuase of the intake.


I just hate taking my intake off and putting the stock one on. Actually I dont think I have all the parts lol.

 

Yeah I had modding then demodding, takes so much time....well not too long but its annoying. I have my SRI ready to install but my car goes into the body shop today so I'm going to wait till its back to install it. gawd im bored at work, but I do get to move a data center soon.....

i plan on some appearance stuff done though, just need $1500 right now and i'll have that done, it's gonna be sweet. i might ask you to photoshop it for me too if you don't mind so i could see if i'd like it, lots of custom stuff

yes i am still alive. i have been super busy at work lately. and i have been busy with the new girlfriend. I went out to knoxville seedway (knoxville, ia) with her this wekend to watch the sprintcar races. (her cousin races in sprintcars) we had box seats at the track with her family and the races got rained out. I am trying to get back on here once and a while. now that work is calmer. and i should be able to make it to the mnsc spring meet. that was lots of fun last year!

 

dang, i'll be in SC for tommy's boot camp graduation... i'd like to show for that one too

coulda sworn i saw hoffa yesterday when i was drivin down 280 towards uni lol had to take a second look

 

Been out of town all weekend. The dealer won't touch my o2 sensor because my three years is up.
