was the guy that was down in the drage race in sabin, mn (sp?) today on this forum??? cuz i was there and saw it race. i was so excited to see a fellow balt on the track!

 

i was at uni only saw a few balts and the black with pink stripe one ill be around there tomarow also

 

yes its a little over ported, yes but for a few reasons one were going with a higher compresion piston, two we modified my intake manifold and i also will be running a 8k rev limit, the motor is going to be built to handle 25-30lbs of boost, im not going to be running that much of boost til i go turbo down the road, the port looks crazy becasue of how much i opened the bottom of the v, but other that that the port is actually smaller than what intense racing sells you but the main reason its ported the way it is, has to do with my lower intake manifold, no pics of that til we know it works, its an ideal and if it doesnt work i go turbo now, but gm performance techs say it should work, but i'm going to have to spend some time on tuning, and we got hp tuners so were set and i got all the time in the world

 

Well P and I had a great time at the Amery Airport.

The top speeds of the day were done in a Ford GT (137mph) and a older Audi (140mph) going down the last leg of the Auto X which was the runway of the airport.

 

i drove through uni a couple times friday and saturday and went down snelling a few times. i had my car parked for a good chunk of it though and just admired other people's cars. i saw a bunch of s/c ss balt rollin around too though, that was pretty nice since i don't see em too often

 

Nice! I've still yet to see another SS/SC on the road..

I see TONS of LT's though.. think I saw at least 6 of em yesterday alone.
