So I just found this thread and it's freaking awesome I had no idea so many people had SS Cobalts in MN. I've only seen one other SS on the road ever in my 2 years of driving.
Anyways I was wondering where I would go to get stuff installed in minnesota? For example I'm getting an AEM meth injection kit, 60lb injectors, and a 2.93 pulley where would I go to get these things installed? I had my stage 2 kit done by the dealer obviously for the reflash but they charged me a fortune(dealer in South St. Paul don't know the name) and had shitty service so I'm not going there again. Plus idk if they would even install a meth kit? Then after all those mods where would I go to get it tuned correctly? Do dealers do this even?
Sorry for the possibly dumb questions this is my first real car and I have only a basic understanding of these things, but you gotta learn sometime.
BTW Rallyracer that hittin up the twisties video in your sig was sick as hell I wish I knew where it was, but I wouldn't ever tell anyone if I were you. People found out about my secret road down in Cannon Falls and now the police sit and patrol it like every day my cop radar totally saved my ass once already and I'm not trying again.

Welcome, XChase. My wife is from Rosemount (grad 2001).
1. 2.93 should work okay with the stage 2 injectors without a tune.
2. 60 lb injectors...search button up top. None of us have them. Off the top of my head, 60 lb'ers don't become necessary until you go <2.8 pulley. Do a search anyway.
3. Dealers do not tune. Dealers will not install the injectors for you unless they're nuts. A select few of them will even know wtf a meth kit is. You almost have to do it yourself and have the tuning set up before hand. I'd PM Ryze..he's the whiz kid around here.

they did the stage 2, manifold, and exhaust for me and since they did it and they price matched their parts to match the cheapest i found online they still warrenty it and if i trade it in at that dealership with my service records of that it adds to the value of my car.
rallyracer will post plenty of sweet pics and videos you'll see a lot of on here.

I've heard some good things about db performance. I'm sure they could install your meth kit and tune you as well. It shows they have HP Tuners on their website.

word up ma bitches. so the stock shifter is on backorder from mazda? WTF right? so guess i get to drive a tribute for another week :/ I mean its a great smaller suv...but my ms3 get better gas mileage....and I glued in a fake clutch because i kept kicking the floor.....

lol i wish i could say some smartass comment but when we took that gtp down to visit tommy for his army graduation a guy whipped out in front of the people we were following down there and i eased on the break, hadn't reached for the clutch the entire trip to start it or stop or anything. when i realized i had to hit the break harder i pushed harder with my right foot and quick tried to push the clutch in and ended up slammin on the breaks lol
i needed to stop quick but not quite like that, printz in the back (the gtp guy) was sleepin across the back seats and he flew into the back of the seats and onto the floor, oops...
just habbit now if i'm breakin hard to push in the clutch, the other habits of drivin a clutch i was okay with on the trip, just ended up doin that one but it was a good laugh
