So do I get to be part of the group if I pick up a cobalt s/c? Seen one in Eagan for 12,500 with 25k miles. Black 2006. Looks temping for a DD. How these cars do in the winter?

 

i got some steelies and some blizzak revo tires and i did just fine all winter long. i'd much rather store the car because i love it but i couldn't afforrd to at the time, maybe this year.

you can be part of the group anyways haha. you don't need an ss for that although does help you not stand out so much from the rest of the group you have a sweet car though. wish i had my vette already so i could roll with you haha.

you should come to uni this sat as well if you can. it'd be cool to meet some more of the guys here. i see a bunch of s/c ss rollin around, saw two one central the other night, yellow one that didn't see me and the black one who waived but i have no idea who they are.

dude when i was looking to buy a cobalt ss, i found one in Benson, MN. it has 600 miles on it, 2007 victory red SS, fully loaded. I had talked them down to under $19k and its still on their lot im sure you could pull a way better deal now.

from mazdaspeed the turbine was cheap so I thought hey why not....but I wont tell anyone how much hp/torq i push with it :P

 

haha i couldn't even guess what somethin like that would add to such a sweet car already. i can't believe you found one for cheap. my cobalt can't have one and even if it could i couldn't afford what they want for one and to have it put on there

haha good to hear. the best feeling is bein away from the car that long then gettin back into it and just floorin it, i did that when i got back from tommy's boot camp graduation in nc. just don't get a ticket for it

damn i got a bunch of people together to go to uni tonight and i just look at the weather and they are expecting thunderstorms for the second half of the day... i was really lookin forward to goin tonight too

A PM would have been hard since I gave you the wrong name. Oops. The '08 line only has one model of SS, so they all have turbos. The two hours of aimlessly driving around helped a lot today.
