lol i'd believe you if the problem weren't caused by one of the few people there i don't know and they fixed everything for free and will for as long as i have the car. and the cd player just had crap in it and shoulda been cleaned. instead the main guy i talk with there just bought me a new cd player and he got them to get me the pulley the other guy said he wouldn't give me unless i put it back on my car. completely happy with their service overall, no complaints at all.
not this weekend for me jeff, sorry man, nor next weekend

srt was a good change for a bit lol. i love the cars it's just the cobalt stands a lil higher in my taste. i'll be takin a trip the second or third weekend of december to drive it down to georgia for him and then fly back home so i won't be able to drive it anymore when i wanna haha
nice jeff, that guy was buggin me as i can see he was you and parnell. i don't care what kinda car anyone drives faster or slower, just show some respect to everyone else and you'll have my respect in return.
hoffa, i'll pm it to you if you want or you can just give it to me when we come down for the concert. if i were in a hurry to get it back i'd have asked you for it when i came down the other week. no hurry man, i trust ya i just feel bad the s/c didn't work out. that pisses me off they'd do that to you...

well screwed yes, but i'll still be able to get it together and on the car, just a matter of a few extra parts.
first thing is first, two of the questionable parts were made by rebel auto worx. apparently they made an idler pully and a pump bracket specifically for the 2.4 conversion. lets just say the quality of these products are less then stellar. the idler pully doesn't fit flush like its supposed to, and honestly looks like a 3rd graders shop project. the pump bracket, now fits flush (after bryan hammered it out) and is functional but the only thing stopping me from using it is the location to where it bolts into. instead of having the pump safely tucked away under the intake mani, its more exposed than a set of 18 yr old boobies at a frat party. the pump bracket bolts up to the two screw holes at the bottom of the oil pan. it would sit a foot off the ground, barely being completely covered by that fantastic plastic shield. not somewhere i would like a pump to be (especially with mn roads)
the absolute most ****-tastic part was the intake mani itself. structurally fine, but it had a "custome" dual pass outlet in the endplate. this custome outlet was not only held to together by some liquid steel crap (that was cracking might i add) but it stuck out farther than my **** n ***** at a jailbait convention. due to this sticking out as far as it did, it would not clear the oil filter housing, leaving a good 1/8th-1/4 in gap to the block.
on top of aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallll that, i was shipped the wrong reservoir for the s/c coolant system.... this has been remidied... just picked up the stock one yesterday (didn't think it was as small as it is tho... holy ****)
so, i just need a stock endplate, idler pulley and pump bracket, then i can get back on track.
oh one more thing... the heat exchanger, although it fit extremely well (i'll give that one to zzp) it was to frucking fat. i have to do some cutting to the bottom part of my front end when i take it off now... there's about an 1/8th in gap on both sides due to the h/e sticking out

spotted a red SS, unknown if it was an sc/tc/2.4 (just saw the SS badges) yesterday, around 4:15, going southbound on 494, I was heading northbound.
Do we have any takers of who it was?

its snowing in ely and here is a math joke
An infinite number of mathematicians walk into a bar. The first one orders a beer. The second orders half a beer. The third, a quarter of a beer. The bartender says "You're all idiots", and pours two beers.
I did see a cute nurse walk by just now though....

I feel bad for laughing at that math joke.
The red Cobalt wasn't me. I've seen two other red ones around. One in Lakeville and one going North on 35w in Blaine.
