yeah, tryin to sell my baby online... gonna miss her a lot but i think it'll be worth it to me

vette has the ls1 so rated at 350 but of course it'll be less but with the mods it's probably still right around there. it's faster than my car for sure, stock they are not. stock i think is like 374 trq, dunno with the mods. new tires and breaks

this one has billy boat exhaust so it sounds amazing
the z06 suspension, it makes our cars feel like any other car on the road
cold air intake
z06 throttle body

it's a manual, wouldn't do it any other way

those are the aftermarket things, the rest i believe is all standard with the hud and transparent and body color top and it's got a sub and amp build into the back floor which is pretty sweet but i haven't played with the audio and the new deck

amazing car, i hope i can buy it and show you guys sometime soon. i think you'd appreciate it as much as i do. it's in amazing shape for 85k miles. i had 2 certified mechanics look at the car with me yesterday and one of em has a camaro ss with the same ls1 engine and he said he never woulda guessed you could come across a vette like that with 85k miles and have it look, sound and perform like new, it's pretty much flawless

i'm short on cash at the moment so it's on vehix.com and craigslist right now, i'm debating a site that for $399 would put it up everywhere for me and sell it.

they are asking 20k for the vette but even with what's in there i'm pretty sure i can talk them down on it and my uncle is building their cabin so i wanna use that as leverage and he saw my car and we talked for a bit and he could tell i'm a car guy and would take care of it and i love vettes so he said he'd hold it for me for a bit to give me a chance to sell mine

Not to crash the party, but here are some things to consider...

Cost of car insurance on a vette for a single young male is going to be insane
Cost of tires for the vette
Cost of gas because it gets much lower mpg than the cobalt
Repair costs and maintenance on a vette out of warranty

I also am cautious on the price you are asking for your SS cuz new cobalts SS's are going for under 20. the SC SS in benson is still for sale and I bet could be had for 17. After a KBB your car should be 12-14k if you find someone to buy it and thats if you can find someone. The car market is crap so be prepared for some low ball offers. The good thing is you are still under warranty and it has low miles for a 2007. Also what about if you lost your job? could you afford the vette? I just want you to think about it before you do something extremely financial that could f you over soooo hard. You are only 2x years old theres still time to buy a vette in a couple years In my opinion mods dont add price to the car they detract it. That vette is worth less than 20k, more around 18k so dont be scared to low ball it if you do make a offer.

After doing some searching around it looks like like the Cobalt SS is going for around $12k-$15k and with way less miles on them...like 17k or less. I say put your car up on carsoup and cars.com if you want to better chance of selling. You may need to lower the price to stay competitive too.

I see a few 2008 SS Turbo's with about 1,000miles on it going for 18K...just to give you an idea on what people are going to see when looking in your price range.

- Im just trying to help ya out

I just thought Id be nice and post this Vette up once again for ya \/. This looks to be about the same price and is the real deal (Zo6). I bet you could talk this price down a bit too. Id just rather see you get more bang for the buck.

no worries parnell, i already looked into all that. the tires are brand new and my insurance quote was 132 a month, i'm payin 145 right now on the ss. monthly car payments would be less than what i'm payin now as well, that's why i'm lookin for a vette under 20k, downside is i'm super picky and it absolutely has to be blue in a manual and a coupe so i can have the removable hard top. it's all around cheaper if i sell my car and go with the vette, my buddy just told me he could get me the parts at price and the gas is the only thing that'd be different but i'm willing to pay it.

if i actually stay and work full time that would be an extra $600 a month in my pockets, i just always leave early so with everything being cheaper than my ss and working full time it shouldn't be hard to get it and get a beater. then i'd have a multiple car discount, though it wouldn't be much, it'd make a difference for insurance

you're right jeff, i thought about it more last night and am going to drop the price of my car to like 15k obo. the vette kbb at 17,500, i'm hopin i can keep him around that. i'd really love to get this one since it's so clean and i love the mods, the z06 suspension makes a huge difference. if he ends up selling it then i guess it just gives me more time to sell my car and find another one though

oh its cheaper?! are you over 25?? damn Mine just dropped a little but yeah it must be because the vette has the smaller engine and its older. Well hey look you'll save money and if you talk the vette guy down, cuz his price is based on mods and sentimental value.

And then this summer you can save up for a truck as they will be pretty darn cheap.

yeah, it's cheaper. i'm 22 so i looked into that right away. brand new tires too pretty much, only 5k miles on em, i checked that too. all summer to find a winter beater is plenty of time to find anything. with a vette as my main car i don't care what i end up in for the winter as long as it gets me from point a to point b

On my way home yesterday, a black ss/sc flew by me on 694 in Maple Grove, then I passed him on Brooklyn Blvd right under the 694 underpass, then I turned onto 69th.

Anybody here?

If you search videos on that site you'll see that the R26.R keeps up with a GT3.
