specially when a lot of low mile SC's are going for 13k or under.Well I owe some on that ms3...and the dealer probably wont give me much on trade in...so I'll have to hold out for a while. Ill call them and see if they can estimate a trade in. But what I'll probably do is pay a **** ton off my ms3 then in the summer when 2009 ss's start dropping go haggle on those.

No sir. We actually got into an argument, plus, she isn't someone that I would end up dating. The chick explained below is the chick I would LOVE to date.
Time to bring this post back from the dead my Minnesota peeps. This same girl is now single. While I have been waiting for this day forever and never thought it would come, it's now here. She's single. The lady that I've always looked for. Now, obviously it is hard on her and she's sad and everything so I am trying to cheer her up.
What I don't want to do is blow this all up because obviously she's going to have to have time to heal and recover from a long relationship. But what I need help with is trying to let her know that I don't want to rush anything, but that I eventually want to end up with her?
Her and I are actually paired up together in our friends wedding on June 27th. I am the best man and she is the maid of honor. I'm sure that emotions and feelings will be running wild on that day. What I want advice on is how I can eventually end up dating her. She's truly awesome and I haven't been this excited in who knows how long.
Any friendly advice bros?
Thanks for taking the time to write that bro. Believe me when I say that I know exactly what you mean. For me, I’ve been single since last July when my girlfriend of 4 and a half years left me for one of her ex boyfriends (Which believe me, left me EXTREMELY bitter towards girls and not able to trust them. But this one isn’t like other girls. Trust me). I’ve been enjoying being single and staying away from girls. I guess the thing that I wish is for her to make up her mind, but for the most part, I’ve accepted that her and I aren’t together and I am just fine with her and I remaining friends.
The hard thing is, her and I spent some time together Saturday night and she wouldn’t get out of my car until I answered her question of whether I had feelings for her or not. I finally got her to be able to leave by avoiding the question but all day Sunday and yesterday she kept begging me to tell her so I did. But I also told her that I wouldn’t ever make a move on her because I respect the fact that she’s in a relationship already. Guess I’ve kind of thrown that to the wayside by giving her flowers, but she’s been going through a rough time lately and has been sad, so I tried to cheer her up.

well it was fixed last week for the downpipe gasket leak, that was fixed for 12 hours. Now it makes a metal on metal squeal. Sounds like a downpipe bolts or heat shield bolts arent tight. Shouldnt be a big deal but I have to drive BACK to the cities again. I love my car, with the bpv it ******* rips. I was just thinking it could be easier with a chevy and I would get a new car again for warranty purposes My new plan is to pay a **** ton off on the ms3 until mid/late summer then see what I can do for a 09 SS/TC.

just a matter of timewell i paid 1500 shipped for it.
after that i bought the h/e (zzp), stock filler neck, the T.B. and wideband (aem uego). i was going to try to get everything for 1800 shipped.
only problem is the injector (60's) and the idler pulley are 2.4 specific. if this is going on a 2.2, you may (or may not) need new injectors, but you'll need the idler/tensioner pulleys of an lsj. this custom R.A.W. pulley bolts up to a 2.4 specific spot only.
i can get you a more detailed list of things later this week.

Nice. Just keep in mind that the $150 extra probably does not include property insurance or real estate taxes. I'd hate to see you get in over your head, so please keep that in mind. Happy house hunting!

It does include home insurance and taxes. It also includes mortgage insurance.

I own a Wii because I love Zelda and Metroid. I own a PS3 cause I wanted a Blu-Ray player and RE5. I have the PC for shooters and online play. I don't see a reason to own a 360. I do have a first gen XBox though. I don't remember why I bought it.

Id say just offer your time to her, like hey if you need anything call me.. then let it be. If she wants to hang with you she will.

sad to hear the project go but reality hits and it sucks sometimes. Hopefully you can just save up and get a real stock FI car...makes it MUCH easier for a DD.
devin - yeah if I got a 07 or ealier I wouldnt pay more than 12-13. Lots are going for about that much. I see people asking more but they ask for what a TC cobalt is. It may be best at this point (like what I found out) to just keep the car, try and pay it off then look again. Wants vs needs... :/ sucks sometimes but at least you have a fast 4 banger currently.

Yeah, I don't want to be friend zoned, and the LAST thing (no, honestly guys) that I want to be is a rebound. My good chick friend and I hooked up 4 days after my ex left me 8 or 9 months ago and it ruined our friendship.
I don't think it would be a problem me clingy to her, I just want to eventually end up with her. She is seriously AWESOME and I would love to date her. I know though that she needs time to heal, so I'm just trying to figure out what to do from here...

She already knows my feelings and there's no reason for me to bring it up. She knows. I have a good feeling that if I am patient and give her time to heal, I'll be in great shape.

ugh yeah, well I ******* love my car, the only thing I reallly wanted was heated seats and a sun/moon roof. Ive had no real mechanical failure on my car nor has it hinted at any engine or turbo seal failure, but with the warranty for the powertrain ending at 60k and im over half way there in a year... sort of scary I guess, with that 100k maintenance and the "what if the rod goes after 60k". The engine rod breaking is imo blown out of proportion for the ms3 but it is more common than most. I also like how GM has stage kits and races their cobalts, shows they trust their own equipment. And Ive never had a 2 door before...it would be cool to get a coupe while I'm still young and yes me and jeff live very parallel lives so we should have the same car right What I also thought of was to get a really used SC SS and build that up...saw some 05's going for fairly cheap...sooo we'll see how the summer, my job and money go. If things go as planned I have some R&D stuff at BGR which could lead to some very good mods that could make serious money, but man time is hard to find, specially when I'd have to "relearn" to program in assembly haha.
THat game does look fun, its like a GTA but bloody as hell and mass killing. Ive been keeping a eye on it for a little while... Wonder if they'll have a playable demo at E3
