yeah its funny how width and height in the same size tire change price. I forgot the tire size I have on my car now... not a bad 18" size the stock TC wheel size, 235/40 or something. Rallyracer would remember.

Nice video and looks like alot of fun. But yeah they are 16s I like unbent wheels and a sidewall. Ill have enough traction with a 205/50R16 I believe.

 

We all need new tires it sounds like... I'm thinkin 245's. I'm not lowered and they look pretty beefy. Lol

 

I'm not looking for new tires for 300 for 225/40 18....probably used and maybe even an all seaason if I have to. Once I have the money for new tires I'm getting Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport's...ranked #1 on Tire Rack for summer (uhp I believe). I have a set of 205/60 15" on my stock steelies...they're Potenza Pole Position RE960AS...awesome tires....aftermarket steelies with Hankook winter ipike winter tires on the car now that are on their 3rd season and probably won't make it through all of next winter so those will need to be replaced this fall or beginning of winter.

As soon as I find a part-time job and get us back on top of everything, I'm finishing my car off then paying it off and saving for my sky rl/sol gxp...I'll have one by the end of 2011 for sure. Just can't buy more than 2 sets of tires, ss/tc struts and shocks, ss/sc front sway, install my exhaust, and get a trifecta tune....that's it. Then I'll be content with my DD...I can drive my wife's Aura XR if I want a kick in the pants...14.5 stock quarter compared to my slow little AT 2.2.

 

Thats alot of rubber to be trowing around thoug, think about it. More rotating mass less power/takeoff. Im trying to keep it light but sticky at the same time.

 

well I'm gonna try to get light weight 18" wheels...that will take some weight off..

 

Im trying for under 20lb per tire/wheel combo. rims are already 14.7lb's, so it might be close.

It's nothing new really...I try not to get my hopes up, but I did a little. Hopefully the Wild can have a good season...that's what I care about most. Wonder if my boss will try to cancel his SuperBowl party now so he doesn't have to give us a party...he's a Packers fan anyway, so he's been saying the only reason he wanted us to go to is to watch us lose.
