Dropping my car off tomorrow morning to get a bunch of scratches on my passenger side fixed so the car will look mint again for this summer. Next step after that... STAGE KIT!!!!

Most of us have done business with him at some point or another. He's good guy, just busy all the time.

yes I never had him do anything for me but jeff and hoffa have for sure...i think a couple more people too

 

you bought an AEM filter or something for him about a year back.

Cuda had his catback put on by him and hoffa, myself, that guy who sold his SS plus a few others have all work with Ryan in some way or another.

Ryan helps out his buddies who race Auto-x and rally so that usually why he's always busy...but talk to and see if you can work something out. He lives in Blaine so its pretty close to ya.

Incorrect good sir. I am **** about the way that my car looks. Right now, it looks like absolute crap and I hate driving it the way it looks.

So no, looks > performance.

(plus, it costs less to fix my car when compared to paying for the stage kit)

 

Took a nice little drive out east today near Stillwater

Im not of a fan of the 35-55mph speeds limits out that directions but oh well...still a nice drive!

I stayed north of Stillwater the entire time (signs said closed due to flooding or something, idk)...where abouts you at?

From my place all I did was head east and then went south until 96 and back west...not a long route (about 45min) but still decent.

Somewhere around here. Her and I both live in st. Francis so somewhere around the area... Coon Rapids, Blaine, Mounds View, etc. Maybe hit up the Mermaid or something. She's trying to set me up with a couple of her friends (like any awesome cousin would do), but in return, I'm to invite my guy friends that are single...

Anyway, I figured it was Ryan that had the IRL when I saw the PM. I didn't know he was on here. I was supposed to pick up an LSJ exh. mani from him a long while ago before I got the Pacesetter. Does he still have the IRL or no? I haven't seen him online forever because he's always busy...I know he was trying to sell the car at one point.



I had an engine stand for sale for the last 3 years....finally sold the damn thing...it was new in box still...got $60 for it about a month and a half ago. 1250lb capacity Torin Big Red from Northern Tool.



Boston's after 9 for happy hour in Riverdale...good deals. A couple of my buddies and I go there...Matt Klukas being one of them...P knows him from the Mazda days along with work related stuff I guess. They are always there and I try to tag along when I have a few extra bucks.



I'm getting anxious to get this exhaust on...my wife's going to kill me when I do though. She doesn't like me modding my car, she doesn't like my car that much as is (how low it is and this and that), but she's been bugging me lately to let her take mine to work because it's a change of pace from her Aura XR. Granted she has sunroof, power everything, heated seats, so I don't know why she wants to drive a base model Cobalt. Her car is also about 3 seconds faster in a quarter mile than mine (maybe more...hers will do 14.5...what will a 2.2 auto do with minor mods?...17...high 16's maybe?). So anyway, when she finds out I installed the tranny/engine mounts she'll not want to drive my car anymore. LOL. I'm really hoping that exhaust isn't too loud at all..I don't want that. I may have to add more resonator's to it or chop up the DP and add a Cat. to it.

Then I should be happy with my car for a little while longer...then maybe I'll just fork out the money for a tune so I can get some nice MPG's and a little more power. Then I won't do anything until I either pay the car off or have enough saved to go ZZP SC. Another thing she'd love to kill me for...lol. She's not a car modifying type of person...when she had her 05 Pontiac G6, she wanted pink racing stripes on it (it was black)...that's the extent of her modifying. Me, I wanted to change the rear valance and add dual exhaust like the GTP has, intake, lower it, wheels, and tint the windows. Lucky for her I never got my hands on it. Even the Aura I want to tint the windows and do a few things with. Wouldn't mind picking up a set of SS/TC wheels for it since it uses the 5x110 pattern as well and comes with stock 18's as is and powdercoating them.

If you can't tell I just am not happy with anything....what I really, really need to do is get my Dune Buggy up and running...it's a mid-60's Beetle chassis and engine with a fiberglass dune buggy body. It was my dad's and he had it in the 70's...then put it away and it never ran again...from before I was born. When he passed away it basically became mine since I'm an only child (that explains my need to spend money and get what I want)....just need to get the title transferred to me still (but that's easy...just need a death certificate and my mom present).

I'm tired now...just got home from work and have to be up at 6 to get my son to daycare and then meetings in Plymouth all day for work...Friday is back to Plymouth (Best Western Kelly Inn) for more stuff...but hopefully done by noon or 1 on Friday...paid for a full 8 hours too.
