I stole the sig format from someone else....saw it and liked it so I copied it.
BTW, anybody with an SS/TC need the K&N filter...I have one from my car before I bought my Injen...I'd let it go for $20 since I don't need it.
Another thing...my dad's car is sitting at my mom's house still (need to send it to the junk yard), but I want to get a few things out of it...it's got the old keys square for ign. and round for doors trunk...well afaik there is only one set of keys for it and somehow in the past few months the door/trunk key got bent and I can't straighten it to get it to work....besides bashing a window (which doesn't help with the trunk anyway) how do I get into the car...can someone cut a key from a bent key by chance? It's not worth calling a locksmith to have them open it up...can I somehow pop the trunk by popping out the lock? I'm ready to just smash a rear quarter window to get in the car.

tom from ced is awesome. he said he'll get my engine here by the very next business day. i should have my car back by middle of next week. i'll only be stuck with tommy's srt for a day or two
i'll post up pics of his car with the new paint job if you're interested when i get it this weekend
the stock SC exhaust isnt too loud and your engine isnt FI so it wont be too loud, kind of a low grumble thing.
Tom from CED is a good guy
Always fast shipping and its a crate engine so you know they made some bucks off of it so he'll treat you right. You could of gone with a used lsj, but well you dont know how beat up it was and I assume the crate engine has a warranty. Also by having the dealer install it you should keep more resale on the car.
Mike - I think silverss/sc with the new white tc/ss coupe was looking for a k&n drop in. He was asking me about mods and I told him you had one. pm him about it.

yeah, bein a gm part and havin chevy put it in i get to keep my 6 yr 60k mile warranty and 100k mile powertrain and the ced crate engine comes with a 3 yr/100k mile warranty so i'm okay with that. do a 1k mile break in then dyno day very shortly after!
So Friday I am hanging out with my cousin a bunch of her girlfriends somewhere after work and since she's bringing tons of ladies with, I might as well return the favor.

I need a breakdown on some of the front suspension. I know I can't afford to take care of it all right now, but here's what I want...basically an FE5 front suspension....so I know I want the following somewhere down the road:
*FE5 LCA's
*FE5 front sway bar, insulators and clamps (I'm assuming SS/SC so I don't have to drill a second hole for the clamps)
*upgraded CAB's
*upgraded endlinks (FE5, Moog, PowerGRID, or Bwoody)
*SS/TC struts (have)
Is there anything I'm missing? I will eventually upgrade the sway bar itself and LCA's, but for now I just want to replace my bad endlinks (might as well do them when I do my struts/shocks and Pedders). I just don't know what to go with? Will I be fine with FE5 end links? And should I get OEM or should I get Moog? I wasn't sure if the OEM FE5's had problems like the FE1's do with crapping out in no time.
So I need to order whatever I'll be using as soon as possible.

Umm the lca's are kinda pricey but maybe you can get them used or from a salvaged one? otherwise CED sells them. I have the cabs in my living room though
they are way bigger than I thought.

Yeah, that was going to be my next question as I know nothing about pre-loading or any of that jargon when it comes to that part of it. OK, I'll just do that then, plus that will save me a decent chunk of money for now.
I'm not going all out with knuckles and axles. If I were to do that, I may as well do hub swaps and go 5x110. I know ZZP has SS/SC LCA's for $100 each used. Not a bad deal. I think I can find them through the network of auto recyclers and what not for a little less. Somewhere in the $80-90 range. I'm not planning on doing those now and I can't afford the CAB's since OTTP wants $200 for them. I'd be looking at close to $500 for LCA's and CAB's and that won't happen anytime in the near future. Endlinks and front sway would be first.

well gmpp has racing knuckles, or you could get powell ones and go 5.114. ya the cabs and lca's Id almost say wait, but if you can get the lca's cheap get them, they are probably a big upgrade for you even without cabs. get a SC/ss front sway, see if anyone on the forum has a used one! hmmm what else...
