I'm definitely going to Back to the 50's i'll be there, and depending on how much is going on with school and work, I'm probably going to enter my car into Car Craft, I think its 60 to register your car and then you get 2 free tickets. We'll have to see what happens.......anyone else going to Car Craft, or at least planning on it??

i so want a nice garage...

I'm pretty confident in Elite being able to do the work just fine. I know 06_Ion2 has had work done there.

Well the kit is from ZZP, I'm not sure if you are aware of it, but it came out at the beginning of the month and it has the following:

*M62 Supercharger
*Custom ZZP modular pulley system
*LSJ lower intake using Laminova intercooler
*LSJ throttlbody
*39# injectors (base kit)
*Cooler NGK spark plugs
*TB adapter harness
*MAF extension
*2 bar MAP sensor
*Serpentine belt
*ZZP intake tube with K&N filter
*ZZP Alternator spacer
*ZZP idler stand with idler pulley
*Valve cover breather
*Bosch IC pump & mounting bracket
*ZZP S3 heat exchanger
*All nuts, bolts, gaskets, fittings, and hoses needed
*Paper instructions with pictures and a instruction CD

It comes with everything needed to install except the tools!

As you can see from their list....it is an actual bolt-on kit that will allow me to keep my windshield wiper reservoir where it is and also comes with a few nicer items such as the ZZP S3 HE rather than the SS/SC stock HE. I think overall the price range is very good and I only care about a really good tune and it putting out enough power to be fun, but be well within the limits of the engine so I don't have any exploding internals.

Here's a link to their page: https://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt...1165&catid=143

Also, I didn't realize some things were going to be so cheap...mechanical boost gauge is a bit cheaper than I thought it would be. I can get a pretty good deal on the tune from someone else on here...he quoted me at $225 if I use a cable (basically if I hit up 06_Ion2 and use his)....so that would save me almost another $75. This could actually be closer to $2500 depending on how much work I do myself. I may be able to install the gauge pod and gauges without any issues and the header/DP I could do, but I need the cat-back welded (really I could install it all and just have them weld it for me). That would save at least another $100-125.
few minor differences w/ mine (since i pieced it together for the most part).

-sieman's flowmatched 60's
-3.0 pulley (i also have a 2.9 as well)
-2.5 bar map sensor
-fujita CAI (yeah... i had to get the lsj reservoir for the other side )

I received my TTR mounts today...I'll post pics later...will have to do these this week if I get time. Looks pretty straight forward. I only have a couple questions....what are the torque specs for the mounts and where is the best place to use the jack under the engine/tranny?

Put a jack under the pan with a piece of wood between the jack and pan. You have the other two mounts holding the trani so it shouldnt move too much. Just take your time and the bolts are Trq to yield I believe.

Well I got the car going finlay and drove it around the block and it looks like im burning/leaking oil on the turbo somewhere, so im going to spray it with brake clean and try it again tomarrow just to see if its just oil residue from the manufacture. YAY!

Here are some pics of everything...if I would've bought them new, I would've had the engine mount be all black with a red insert, but since I saved a **** ton by buying stuff with only a couple hundred miles on it at most, I'm happy.

Here they are (I'll re-size them after I post them up here):

A shot of all of them together:

And this:

Will be replacing this (as if you haven't seen one of these before...or any of it for that matter):

Do the motor mount first, then the front one. The tricky one is the rear because you need to support the trani with a jack/jackstand.

Thanks for that info 06....so start with the engine mount...no problem...just use the jack under the oil pan with a board then? Once that's done, where do I want the jack for the front mount? And where do I want it for the rear mount? Anywhere under the tranny or a certain place work better/safer?

Not totaly sure with the auto's but the front one on my 5 speed I didnt need any support. I just unbolted it and it stayed in place without supporting the motor. The rear you may need to figure out where to support it at, as im not too sure anymore its been a while.

I guess when I get under there I'll find out...it shouldn't be too bad. I'd love to get it done this week, but I don't know if I can. One more thing...you said just torque them all to yield? Just make sure they're tight then?

I have April 22/23 off so I'll for sure have it done then...along with my exhaust....

BTW, I ordered the SCE copper gasket from Summit Racing because they had some in stock and ready to ship...hopefully I'll have it in a week. JEGS said up to 6 days before it ships to me.

I'm not sure where my header is, but I know it's on the way somewhere in UPS' system. So it's on a truck somewhere heading towards me at least (that's good news).

Make sure those allen key'd bolts are very tight on the motor mount. On the other mounts just snug them down nice and good and they will be alright.

BTW. Best spot to jack the front up is from those 3 carrage bolts underneath, kinda near/under the drivers side, cant really miss them they are all very close together. Dont forget the E-brake before jacking it up too.
