If you can afford Pedders just get those...I have Sportlines and they're nice, but I want better handling so I'm going to upgrade down the road...I'm trying to find out more about Progress and H&R myself. Otherwise maybe the Pro Kit...I like being as low as I am, but I want better handling.

On another topic anybody here want a Pacesetter header? It's for the LSJ (1.75 primaries)...decided I don't want to SC my car so I want the other Pacesetter with 1.5 primaries. $100 pick-up or meet. More to ship. New, never installed, but only the header is included...no gasket or anything else....I'm keeping the Exhaust Depot Catless DP to use.

23,000 miles and my rear brakes sound like they are grinding metal on metal. I was hoping to be one of the lucky SS/TC owners that didn't have a rear brake problem but I guess not. I'm going to call Friendly Chev on one of my lunch breaks and talk to the service manager. Hopefully they don't fight me on it.

well 23,0000 miles isnt bad though. depends if you want to stay stock or upgrade. If you stay stock I would try to get them covered. If you want to get performance pads/rotors do it now.

I got my squeaky blower motor replaced on Monday. My car is not annoying anymore. I also bought a new bolt for the rear headrest and can replace my headrests after not having them for seven months.

I say build the base part of it at home.

Using plumbing pipe and have the one end threaded if it isn't already, they thread pipe at Home Depot. In the plumbing dept they should sell a base that the pipe can thread into. That base thingy also has bolt holes around it so that it can be secured down to something.

Bolt that base part down to the partical board. Then when you get to the meet you can pull out your stripper base, put up your pole and tape on your stripper.

I'll double check on the pipe base with bolt holes tomorrow.

Id like to take a few spins on the pole myself
