I posted it in the regional forum and and some guy with another ION was pretty gay about it. Oh well, **** em. I like them and they are actually alot of fun. Better then wasting my gas down town.

 

on the contrary to the bolded part of your statment...

we actually like getting together, with everyone and meeting all the new faces(yes even 06... he just likes to be a **** ). Rally asked you a very good question in the regional thread... why don't these happen on weekends? and there was no answer.

to put it bluntly... 90% of us that take up the regional thread space won't do week meets because we just can't. SS_Carnatic was never able to get any of us out for his BBW wings meets on thursdays (wonder if he is still doing that) and not that it was against him that we didn't come out... we have lives/wives/careers that make us non-existent during the week.

i personally live in Roch, work 2pm-1am m-th... there's no way in hell i'd be able to make any meet during the week... no matter how much i want to come (btw, this sounds like a fun time and i would love to make one... just not going to happen under these conditions). Northvide is the same, just lives on the opposite end of the state.

judging by the join date, you are quite new. even if you were looking through the site a while before joining, you are still quite new. maybe you should have seen whats what before throwing the middle finger to "us in the regional thread"

i can help with some of those questions.

1. weekends happen for other things that might get planned (like crusies and such)...the meets are just that..meets. Show up, hang out, and then usually some guys go to BWW after

2. Its NEVER changed because of confusion. Its at the same spot, same time, every week. It gets cancelled if it rains and never is rescheduled...just show up next week.

3. There are going to be more benefits also because we are starting to get more and more sponsors. Example: NOS energy drink...you can get free ones at the meet. There are local sponsors giving DISCOUNTS to RKC members.

I did actually replie to his question...was just away from the CPU. and the monday tuesday thing does make it very easy. If u see rain its called off. very simple. ITS LEGALL. We cn gather there with out harassment from police or security serivces. Also, great cars out there. EVERYTHING is there.

And, I also work 2 jobs, 46hrs a week, go to school full time and have a lady myself...i kno how life gets chaotic. Yet the meets are just my time away to have "fun"

In all it truely is a great time. I suggest checking it out. like hanson said...discounts to members...all 4 wheels powder coated for 300 buck with lifetime warranty...and parts discounts and brookdale chev..
