Just as a general rule of thumb...... The police won't even bother you for tint if your not attracting their attention. ( speeding, loud exhaust, "rollin" on 20's, loud stereo, etc...)

 

20% never been bothered once.

 

I have 15% all around havent been pulled over yet all depends on the cop you run into and the mood he is in... The best about my tint is that I got it done at the same time as my boss was getting his brand new escalade tinted and he picked up the tab FREE is the best price.

 

Blackout window tint on hwy 100 does good work.

I attract plenty of attention. Nice rims, red sports looking car, 20% tint, always doing at least 5mph over, loud system, and I'm a young Afro-American male riding in the collaboration I just mentioned of a nice car in the "wrong parts" of town (wherever you consider that being it doesn't matter. I've been everywhere). I just don't let the cops see my windows that often.

 

Generally, yeah. But each of my 3 times has been specifically for the tint, nothing else. Thats what they said anyhow.

 

Yeah but when you see POPO comin you can roll your windows down. Where im from you cant really do that because its like -20 here. but its warming up
