sweet. so nate is ur gf gonna have a halloween party or not? i am goin to do paper work on my new place today in milwaukee we can have parties down there all the time. i am moving into a whole house so plenty of room inside and there is plenty of on street parking on a one way street for the cars

Yeah I checked it last oil change and it is pretty bad. Im certainmy code was caused by my MAF being dirty however. Read this. I also had a P0300 code last time the P0171 code was triggered. Neither caused a check engine light.
Random misfires that jump around from one cylinder to another (read: P030x codes) also will set a P0300 code. The underlying cause is often a lean fuel condition, which may be due to a vacuum leak in the intake manifold or unmetered air getting past the airflow sensor, or an EGR valve that is stuck open.
Its all right there. Being the lazy mechanic I am, I was going to get to it eventually.

Hey guys shelly called me up and "told" me to be at the track on sunday, and I know im not going to say no to that. And I got my friend from work to come out with his Shelby Daytona with a massive turbo. Hes escited to go. So they are open from 12 - 5 i think, so lets go there and then do something, or maybe do something before that then after too. Whatever.
Oh and about the filter shield, its just there to stop water from entering the filter element, but not if you submerse it, obviously. ANd Nate,i stopped at Advance Auto today and accidently found out they have them there, but the one they had was opened so I said **** that. So ill try another store right by my house.

Where is the track you are speaking of? I don't know if my woman would be up for a drag track. Maybe I can get her to come, then there won't be a problem with where and when we are meeting.
Who else is up the track? maybe something before at a park or a good photo op?

actually i looked at the schedule for sunday, its 10 - 5 so Im guessing Ill get there maybe noonish. Ive got a few people going with me, and I want this to be a good turnout. Oh and its import wars if that matters.
