Im getting killer gas mileage with no detonation... LOL

Its hard for me to tune it as I dont have a wideband O2 guage/sensor. All I could use to tune it was a narrowband O2 and my OBDII scanner to read my fuel trims. But it runs smoothly, no knocks, and like i mentioned before gas mileage. If that answers your question...

pfft raced a LT tonight...pulled hard on him..hit 105ish..my front at his passanger...112 dead even. Hit the governor...told the guy to come on here and introduce him self
I dont think he had anything done to his car..besides a cut off muffler. Traffic kept getting in the way..haha so the race wasn't good. He started ahead of me and i follwed and tried to pass but cars were in the way.

ahh well he was cool, we talked for 5 minutes. he told me he wanted me front emblem and my "slobalt" on the back. haha

Also..i couldn't make it to power tour...basemnt had water in it.girlfriends basement had water in it...flooded streets...it was crazy. Plus i dont have internet...im at jojos house. I hate rain right now..hah

so how'd the dyno go?

I was informed early this morning that my car was possibly going to be done, and then was greatly dissapointed when I was leaving. Kinda pissed, but w/e. I'm more pissed that i missed the dyno day.

 

well kurt got dissapointed on account of the dyno not being calibrated we think. But i was pleasently suprised with a peak 137.4/127.6 i think it was.
But there were some nice cars, but alot of half assed civics.

yea I was really pissed... I dynoed 228 hp and 219tq..... then my brother dynoed exactly 5 less then me.... and im completely unsure wtf these numbers came from. but I came to a couple conclusions, dyno wasnt inacurate from either calibration, wasnt warmed up and something was slipping. I cant come up with any other conclusions. I know my car FOR a fact has more then that. It just doesnt make sense how I go from 237hp 200tq last dyno day then again later in the year 260hp 255tq then to 228hp and 219tq. Its not the tuning either cause my brothers tune hasnt changed in over a year. I also did a compression test on my motor and I got 185 across the board so I know my motor isnt worn.

a/f ratios on the dyno was 12.0 going down to 11.4ish which was about where it was set, manifold temps were 118 degrees(god I love alky injection), and 24.5 degrees timing at 6900 rpms( again I love alky injection lol) 0 knock thru the pulls, my brother called me and he did say something with the dyno didnt sound right when i was on it like it was making a odd whining noise like something was slipping.... so im wondering if that had something to do with it as i was the 4th person on the dyno. last year I waited about 15- 20 cars before I got on it.

 

well curt your right bt im going to have to say it was that the dyno wasnt warmed up and it was slipping casue it seemed that all the cars in the afternoon were putting out resonable numbers dont know what to tell you otherwise

So this afternoon me and my girlfriend test drove and SS turbocharged Cobalt need less to say i was pleased but wasnt blown away i liked everything about it but the power was almost exactly the same comparison to my o5 ss supercharged but if i had the cash i wouldnt hesitate to buy one on the spot. all and all my girlfriend loved it and just about creamed in her pants lol so low and behold we are ordering one next weekend sport coat tint red fully loaded!!!
